Never been so disinterested in a GF as this one. Might just spend the night finishing off my jigsaw puzzle rather than watch the game.
It has to be Richmond for me. Have built themselves out of trouble into a very good team, stable club. Can't stand a few of them but that'll be the case where you get 50 people in one place.
I can't stand the narrative of what a well run club geelong are... With the father/son gifts they've had and the inexplicable pull of living in the area delivering players for massive unders. And, unprecedented government money into their facilities.

Staggering to me that Geelong made the grand final after losing Tim Kelly last year. I thought that would be the end of them. Just shows how important a strong and deep midfield is as well as how you play.
Leaning slightly towards preferring a Geelong win but unfortunately I think the Tigers by 20 points.

That said will still probably watch the game - best outcome for us unbelievers is that its close right to the end. After that - I really don't give a f*** as to who wins.
Cotchin or Dangerfield missing an after the siren chance would probably be a dream result.

Given I have no investment in either team for the AFL Grand Final, I wonder if it is wrong for me to pray to the footy Gods for this match to be the catalyst for both of these teams to plummet down the ladder in 2020 ...
1) Injuries during Q1 reduce both teams to 18 fit players
2) Scores level at full time
3) Scores level after extra time
4) 90 minutes of scoreless golden point, with further injuries forcing both teams to station 4 injured players permanently inside forward 50.
5) AFL intervene, declare a draw and force a replay next Saturday ...
... or if we MUST have a winner ...
... I'll take Geelong winning by a behind in golden point following a blatantly incorrect deliberate out of bounds call (after Richmond tie it on an accidental rushed behind by Geelong with 15 seconds left in extra time ...
... I guess what I'm really saying is, I'm completely happy for these teams to grind each other down into new top-dressing for the Gabba.

Couple of cheeky bets on the nags but loading up on the total score being under. Looks crazy high to me

Hope Geelong wins and GAJ gets a Norm Smith in a final blaze of glory. Can't stand Richmond supporters banging on about the dynasty, can't stand the players or Hardwick banging on about their systems, can't stand the media banging on about what good blokes Lynch and Cotchin are, can't stand the absolute free ride they cop from the umpires every week and can't stand Vlastuin playing AFL instead of going for an Oscar. I don't like Geelong but Richmond are just the absolute worst (apart from arsington obviously)
Really not a fan of this night Grand Final. Feels like I'm waiting around for no reason. Hope they trash the idea moving forward.
