Dads taken the day off,
Looks like a Glorious day in Melbourne.
I'll ride my bike in from Ferntree Gully Station to Flinders,
be in my Hawk gear from top to bottom!

I work at Docklands, and sadly, can't get the day off. If I tried, EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE I work with, especially my immediate boss*, would know why.And I more than likely wouldn't have a job to come back to next week.

What I CAN do however, is take a 2 hour extended lunch break, and meet some friends who will be saving me a spot in Swanston Street!


*I must admit that my boss has been extremely supportive during this time of the year - I've been allowed to get in later after purchasing tickets, and leave earlier to run around and do other footy related stuff. As long as I work my hours per 4 week cycle, it doesn't worry either him or the company I work for.
