For those keen on a punt there are pretty good value flight/accom deals for Sydney. Flying 1star, Sofitel Hotel, 2 nights 2 people $1400. Can get cheaper depending on accom. and flights times. I just can't bring myself to get up at sparrows fart for a plane.

If anyone is looking for accomodation walking distance to Adelaide Oval, I will be canceling 2 x bookings at Greenways Apartments later tonight, via booking.com.

Rooms were cheap as chips ($184 for one bedroom - can sleep 3). Hopefully the re-list at the same price. It was free cancellation until Tuesday so you might be able to grab it now and cancel if you miss out on tickets tomorrow.

Looooong time lurker, first time poster. I'll take the opportunity to thank you all for the many many hours of entertainment and education on this board.
Will be aiming to secure 4 tickets this morning and hope to see many of you on Friday driving across to SA. Any advice on what bays, areas of the stadium to aim for? I was thinking just to put it into the hands of the ticketek gods and go best available but those gods can be fickle.
Go Hawks.
(PS. Just think about this mob.... A premiership every 4.58 years I've been upright on this rock. How good. Let's make it 4.23.)

If anyone not making the trip to Adelaide has a member barcode I could use to purchase tickets I would be most greatful. I've been a member for 17 years but I had to drop down to Hawk at Heart for the last couple of years and that doesn't give me a barcode.
