RDR2 next gen update would have been great too but rockstar seem to only give a stuff GTA
RDR2 already looks insane on the previous generation. I believe Rockstar have already hinted that there will be an RDR3, so I'd much rather they invested their time and energy on that, which they should also be doing with GTA 6.

Is there an free or cheap upgrade if you already own it on PS4?

Im interested to see if it’s a straight up remaster or if they’ve added an QOL improvements to it.

If you've waited this long to play it, you might as well wait another month and a half for the next gen version.

Rockstar never said that the PS5 version will come with a free/$10 upgrade (only that GTA online will be free for the first 3 months). So assume the game itself is full price.

I'm hoping at some stage I'll be able to port my PS4 GTA online account to PC - fingers crossed there is an opportunity when the next gen port transfer window opens.

No free or paid upgrade seems like an incredibly grubby move.

Yeah, I don’t mind a paid $15 upgrade (I did it recently for Uncharted) but full price for a game I already have is ridiculous.

A full price game most have already bought twice as it is the dogs.

Paid full price
360
PC

Purchased cheap ($20-$30).
Xbox One

PS4 (technically free)

I didn't have to buy it on the XBO, still did for something to play. I think PC is the optimal version, doubt I'll get it on the XBSX but you never know!!

Just checked via PS5 and can see the PS4 version for $54, but no PS5 version is showing at all.

Da fook is going on?
Just scroll down the home page of the store and it will be in the pre-orders part, not too far down. You can't search for it.

I can't help but remember how angry I was the last time I pre-ordered something from Rockstar and how much I vowed that they could get stuffed the next time they tried to get me to pre-order something else, and that memory remained at the forefront of my mind as I nearly tripped over in my haste to get to my console to pre-order this. Am I in an abusive relationship with a video game company?
