Bloody well played Catters a fantastic game! In the end you were lucky to escape with the win due to the stupid play on rule interp but Pies shouldn't have been close enough to strike, bad kicking almost cost you boys the win. As for the umpiring meh what goes around comes around it usually evens out over the season. Footy and the fans were the real winners tonight two great teams going hammer and tongs at it.

Superb game. Great contest by the best two sides going around at the moment. You could tell the pressure was immense by how poor the skills were during the game.

Also love the fact I had $100 on the cats at $2.93 on thursday morning.

Great win, well done Geelong. Tipped em to win & they didn't let me down.

Menzel's gonna be a gun, Bartel's all class.

Collingwood were a little off today though, but then again, Geelong didn't look great either. But under that much pressure you wouldn't expect either team to look too great.

Collingwood will get the next one though. I'm just happy Collingwood have a genuine challenger.

Skills were abysmal. Very few highlights. Not sure what makes this a great game apart from the fact the final score was close.

Wouldn't go that far, the conditions went a long way to what we saw. Contest at the ball from both sides was great, but agree though that the close score inflates the view of the game.

Top game- nice up yours to Bomber Thompson i would think. Cats lucky they didnt pay for their inaccuracy early. Better team on the night won for sure.

Tonight shows just how important Jolly is to the Pies. When Ottens was in the ruck the Cats seemed well on top in the clearances, especially the centre bounce ones.

If Jolly goes down long term it'll be hard for the Pies to go all the way again.

apart from the last 10-15 minutes it was a terrible game. Non-existent forward lines, shoddy skills (yes it was windy, but still). Boring/slow footy.

It was like a game of basketball. 3 and 1/2 qtrs of crap and then enjoy the frantic final minutes.

Not sure how the play had stopped on the pednles advantage. The hitout went straight to him and he ran in and kicked the goal. If geelong players stopped that is their own fault. Cost me my multi bet too.......

That was one of the worst displays against us I've ever seen.

Pendles seals the match from a ruck contest and the ump brings it back. Terrible!

You easily gotthe rub of the green with the umpires this week, no need for you to cry about them you should have been put away early on.
