I think people are being overly harsh on us because they expected us to win by 150 here based on what the Suns did early last year. But GWS is better than the Suns were this time last year. 96-30 is a solid effort by us for round 1. I reckon 4 or 5 weeks into the season we'd beat them much more convincingly.

So, what about in four or five years ?

Pretty well played by Folau there. We will hear about it, and see it over, and over, and over again though.

Let's put the crowd into perspective too. In 1998 I was one of 21,000 (and could have been many thousands more) that crammed like sardines to watch the Melbourne Storm play it's first ever home game. It was not a derby, you can guarantee that there we not 10,000 free tickets given to school kids, and the Storm did not have the power of an organisation like the AFL behind it. I personally think 38,000 for the first game of the year, and the first game of this club, in a derby, is actually pretty average.

Getting tackled by Folau and getting a ridiculously soft free kick is the first times I have even seen Hannebery. Worst on ground by a mile for me. Has done nothing.
