2013 prelim against Geelong was the single greatest AFL spectacle I had witnessed. It's biased but it is my favourite game to replay.

The excitement of winning the close one in 2011, especially Daisy's last tackle on Cyril, was fantastic.
But for sheer enjoyment, the first half of the 2010 Prelim v Geelong was the best for me. The noise of the "COLLLLL INGGGG WOOOOOD" chant all around the ground was deafening. I got an SMS from a mate in Burnley asking what was happening, as he could hear it from his house.
*Nods* no prizes for you?The 2004 St Kilda v Port prelim was an epic game, just a pity we were on the wrong end of the result.
The 2009 St Kilda v Bulldogs prelim was epic too, it was a low scoring game but it was close and tense the whole way with thankfully a better result for us.
The umpiring in the Hawthorn v Adelaide prelim in 2012 was even worse, no prizes for guessing which team benefited from the terrible umpiring.
As much as the result leaves a nasty taste in the mouth to this day, that and 1999 Carlton-Essendon game were astonishing.1994 Geelong vs North Melbourne was epic.
Going by the benchmark of close GFs being good.
2011 was better than 2005 of course, but it's not really going to be counted as a classic GF.
