Got a 55 inch TCL for the bedroom it's as good if not better than my 65" Sony 9500H (top of their LCD line around 2020) - I'm amazed by the quality, especially at the price.

cutting and stacking firewood yesterday in a sandy area near the back dam and the sand flies went to town on me, so far resisting the temptation to scratch them.... but cant state things may change....

Had an attempted break in at my place 4am this morning.
Heard pushing on a gate, raced out, nightsun lit up, campaigner jumped on my shed and over the fence.

Go back to security cameras, campaigner in dark clothes, hood on, hard to see face.

We had an attempted home invasion years ago and it still ****s with us from time to time mentally.

No consequences for doing wrong
We have an excellent security system which no one would get past
2 Maremma dogs which unfortunately probably doesn’t work in town
We live in the country & have the gates to our place always shut & warning signs on them

Victorians told to brace for destructive winds, 'almost certain' power outages

Damaging wind gusts of up to 100kph are expected to lash Melbourne from 2am on Monday morning.

Emergency Management Commissioner Rick Nugent called on Victorians to plan for further power outages.

"It is almost certain [the weather] will result in more power outages, plan for up to 72 hours," Mr Nugent said.
