Can someone enlighten me as to why Guerra doesn't qualify for the 25% good record over the past 5 years rule? I thought he has't been reported since 2006??

deductions
25% of the base points shall be deducted if the player has not been
found guilty of any reportable offence within the previous five AFL
years. If the player’s only reportable offence(s) in the previous five
AFL years have been financial sanctions, he still qualifies for the 25%
deduction. If a player takes an early guilty plea, the demerit points,
including additions or deductions, are subject to a 25% reduction

400 points minus 25% = 300 points
300 points minus 25% = 225 points = 2 weeks.

I posted earlier but Goo pleaded guilty to a rough conduct charge in august 2010, he received points but not enough for a suspension. I believe this is enough to lose your good record.​

It's a stupid system, Byzantine in its conception and application. Couple that with the lack of scrutiny, disallow of precedence and general tenet of 'that the AFL is omnipotent, always right and shall never be questioned' you have a confusing, inconsistent and often asinine judicial system. Which, it must be said, is a direct reflection of those who created it and who are charged with implementing it.

Excessive. 2 weeks would be appropriate. But what' appropriate one week is inappropriate the next. It's a lucky dip this monday night entertainment we call the MRP.

We will miss Guerra against the dogs and pies. He was stupid to go in like that. Was right in front of me. However 3 weeks.
