lol at interstate footy

your teams might be good but your crowds SUCK!!!

bulldogs v pies has not compared to anything else ive seen this finals series

It just doesn't feel right, no Semi's or prelims at the MCG.
If it was at the G' at least the crowd would be divided via ticket allocation.
The games are basically decided by venue.
These interstate finals are generally not good quality games, it's no coincidence.

That's one thing the NRL does have right, finals in the heartland.
Regardless of teams.

Its the Australian Football League. Get used to it, or get lost.

Interesting crowd yeah? Big holes in certain key sections. When I first saw it I was thinking, oh there must be a lot watching the RL final at the SFS. But no, the crowd there was crap too. FWIW, I think alot of people had the same idea as me - watch them both. And the best place to do that is either at home (with the remote at hand) or at a pub (with multiple screens).

Might be the only way your team might make it. But FWIW, the NRL is adopting the AFL's venue selection criteria from next year.

NRL will follow AFL formatting for finals next year, i.e. leading team has home final. I had no opinion on the matter until I saw how poor the NRL crowds for the finals this year were.

It's not a level playing field for all 16 teams, far from it.
We all know that.

Sydney would be the team that benefits the most, significantly.

Which is why many people i know don't genuinely rate your achievements.

They respect what your club (and the Lions for that matter) have done, but they say it will always be tarnished and that your premierships true value is around 50-60% of what it would be if the comp was fair.

A Western Bulldogs supporter talking about Benefits. Take out the multi-million dollar handouts the AFL give you just to stay afloat, then take away the GF always being in your home city, and you'd never even come close.
You'd be dead.
