Abbey Dowrick has improved this season and I expected the same for Hannah with a full preseason. Disappointing but all part of the learning curve for a young person and young team.

It’ll be tragic to see her talent and potential go to waste. I was really excited about hopefully getting the Hannah Ewings of 2022 back for us, but that’s looking doubtful now.

Still got Shineah Goody, Molly Brooksby and Piper Window who were all rated Top 10 or thereabouts draft picks, and Matilda Scholz in her second season with another pre-season under her belt.

Also, the very experienced Kirsty Lamb who we got from the Western Bulldogs is sure to add plenty (been in the comp since the very beginning, 67 games experience, All-Australian, Club B&F winner etc.)

I really hope Hannah is ok and can re-find her best, but if our first and second picks in our first ever draft both end up not playing another game for Port from here that's shocking.
