The only thing Harley will be doing in Tullamarine is heading to the airport for his games interstate. His not keen on the Dons and they're not in consideration at all.

Harley is basically barely shown in marketing things this year. Some say he requested this “to concentrate on footy” etc and to get out of the spotlight. But also the executive probably know he’s skidaddling and have wound it down. There is way way too much smoke billowing around now, probably by design and already negotiations taking place between all parties. Every WA pundit is saying he’s gone, Karl, Brad Hardie, Schofield, Quartermaine. It’s not just the Vics. The Eagles backed themselves but also probably knew they will just get draft hand back as the contigency

In all honestly he does great things has speed power and great evasiveness and vision, awesome skills but he might end up a patchy player his whole career and grab like 2 interchange AAs. Obviously his ceiling is among the greatest of all time though which is what you’d pay/punt on. Nightmare scenario is if he does his knee ala Petracca this year for WCE or when he is traded next year or 2027 for whoever lands him potentially. It will be bittersweet watching him this season, he shouldn’t grab the jumper unless he’s signing lol

Geelong would find a way but they will want 12 months to pull it together hence my comment about 2026. No doubt wce would push for humphries and no doubt we would be working to find a way to get a trade done without putting him in it.

Best they find another suitor this year to extract maximum draft value.
