Didn't you also say that Houston was a done deal at Carlton, Stringer was staying at Essendon and Melbourne wanted Oliver gone? I'm having trust issues with your "Intel"
He was about 0/10 with his 'insider intel' last season.

Just a troll and not even a remotely good one.

That was a terrible performance from HR
he really let himself down with his presentation and attitude today

Alot of Figjam about him
Did you see the shape he turned up in at the beginning of the season? Go look at the photos. This is why having the media blowing smoke up an 18 year olds ass never ends well. The West is a cancer.

Also says alot about the player and his professionalism

He is touted as the next Dusty and had a much better upbringing than the great man
smoke up Dusty clacker never effected his preparation

It was obvious that he wasn’t going to stay. Now it’s almost guaranteed.
From what I can see on the West Coast board, it’s finally starting to sink in for their supporters.
HR won’t be leading West Coast back up the ladder. He wants to play for a big club in VIC.

very ordinary game and tell ya what if he does that flopping shit, i dont want him

hes better than that garbage

Harley nominating Geelong at the end of 2026 would be the worst possible result for West Coast.

Best they find another suitor this year to extract maximum draft value.
I think it has to be Richmond. 2 top 5 picks this year. Good for Harley in 2027 and beyond, maybe even 2026. Lots of good players same age or younger. Lots of cap room for free agents in the near future.

You'd be crazy to give up multiple first rounders and pay this bloke millions.

I'd be taking my hand to the draft. You can find better players with better attitudes.

Yeah I’d be pumping the brakes until end of next year.

At the moment he’s out of shape with a shit attitude when Yeo’s not there to hold his hand

He’s either checked out already or has spent the offseason gulping down his own bath water like it’s kool aid. Or a combination of the two. Yesterday was ugly.

If that was a pick 56 player from the draft performing the way that he did yesterday, he would be dropped this week and made to do his time in the WAFL for weeks.

Intrigued to see how Mini handles this.
This is a good point that isn’t being spoken enough.

How does mini handle his number 1 pick who was painfully disappointing.

More to the point, how can west coast have a 5 year 2 million dollar deal on the table after that?

What message would that send to 40 other blokes on the list.

Difficult times.

If performances keep coming like that no way he doesn’t request a trade come the end of this year.
He is a part of the poor performance. He needs to pull his finger out and apply himself more. Sure, he can leave which he may well do, but right now, I see him as a big part of West Coast's problem when it's his job to be a long-term solution to fixing their problems on-field.

Asking a 19 year old to be the solution is exactly the problem though.

He clearly has poor leadership around him on the field and his own captain also contemplating his future at the club.

It's going to be a very interesting trade period if those performances keep coming.

I think he will request a trade.

Players don't nominate the clubs that their current club want them to. Very unlikely.

There's so much water to go under the bridge, and this thread has become a bit unedifying to say the least.

Let's say Harley indicates that he wants to go back to Victoria this year. He is contracted and it would be very easy for us to say "well x club has this on the table, and we'd only release you to x or y club who have viable assets, or you can stay for another year".

If he really is keen to go home, and yesterday was the beginning of a JHF type scenario (I doubt that but still), then I don't think he'd be willing to hang around for another year.
