I have worried about Boomer's attitude over the last few years and what he contributes to the team has really become marginal during this season in particular. Is he an on baller (he seems to get tagged out of the game to easy) or is he a small forward (he doesn't seem to get where the ball is)?.

His brother would have to rank as the most immature player in the league and really gets my goat (please return my goat if anyone has seen it, gets cold at night without him!)

I would not mind a double trade. I think it might actually be in the best interest for both the club and Brent, such as what happend with Schwatta.

I think Richmond could be interested in a B & S Harvey + trade pick - trade for Ottens and Zantuck, although I do think Otten's back is a risk, I like Zantuck hardness, I think he'd be handy after Arch goes.

Boomer is hopefully going to stay. Shane just needs to change his attitude and not think that he is going to get picked every weekend just because of his name and who he is related too.
:)

In one of the games where harvey got 3 brownlow votes, the cameras showed a close up of Laidly as the votes were read out, Laidly raised both eyebrows and screwed up his nose. seemed strange

Laidley has just said that boomer is the most important player at the roos, that means he isn't going anywhere
Perhaps someone better introduce Dean to D Wells.

He was about to sneeze. Nothing more to it :)

No he didn't. He raised his eyebrows, seemingly surprised. His nose remained unscrewed. I thought it was strange too, but it seemed to be more of a pleasant surprise than an unpleasant one.

If Boomer specifically wants to leave, we trade him. If that's not the case, then he stays.

sorry for bumping this up but unfortunately the newest thing ive heard is boomer and jyd do not see eye to eye and the deal that may be done is boomer of to magpie land for mgough, obree and a draft pick the more i hear about harvey the more it seems he will not be there next yr.

it will be most welcome if anyone has heard any different

Who did you hear that from? A collingwood supporter on the main board?? Any rumour which includes a combination of McGough and OBree in exchange for a quality player is usually straight from the Pie Supporter's Wet Dream Factory...

Exactly

Obree and McGough have pretty much zero or at best very limited trade value.

They keep on putting those names up because they know they are going anyway.

If North were so keen on Obree or McGough we would throw a 4th round pick at COllingwood and they would probably jump at the chance to get something for them rather than nothing.

Regardless of that, I can not see how McGough or Obree would add something to our team - they are just not the sort of players we need

Magpies will be laughing their heads off if they got that deal though.

Well if Boomer isn't happy- he should leave.. and he can take Shane with him..

But Mcgough, Obree and a pies pick is a ridiculous trade, Eddie would laugh all the way to his island (I am sure he owns an island somewhere.. he probably has it shaped as his own head)

Go Roos

The Word Is Harvey And Laidley Dont See Eye To Eye, Injury Or No Injury, Be Prepared For A Possible Harvey Departure

Wouldn't be the first time a player and coach aren't exactly in lurv! Many of us heard, on radio a week ago, Laidley say that Boomer is the most important player on North's list. Didn't sound like he was at all interested in trading him.

Talk is cheap. Wouldn't surprise of a backflip. I've heard many things come from officials / coaches mouths one week and then the reverse happens a week later. Only way to get the underling FACTS is from Boomer himself. If Boomer can't be tracked down to hose down this innuendo, then I'll be braced for a trade swap. Mighty Mick wouldn't post stuff like this if he thought it wasn't worth worrying about.
