the gist of my post was that Walker, like Cloke were lauded as the next best thing since slice bread but never lived up to the hype.
obviously Cloke won a premiership in 2010, Walker as captain had a chance to do the same today but went missing big time: more overrated then Cloke.

Plenty of great players have had bad GF's - Carey, Brereton, Franklin to name a few. Walker isn't on their level - just a good player who had a bad game. They still came 2nd - there has to be a winner and a loser..

Cotchin was sincere in acknowledging the Crows' great season and what a team they are. Walker said two words then spoke moved onto the sponsors in one breath without making eye contact with our players.

Cotchin is a decent human being and that's why he's a premiership captain!

By being honest to himself and teammates, he brought out the best in everyone.

Walker puts up a front and pretends to be super confident, but it's fake confidence.
