Weitering has copped some bad corkies in games and did a bad calf a year or two ago. Not really one id say is being overworked though.Weitering has also had issues. It's a fair question to ask.

And that's the reason the fitness guy left. Always getting overruled and having players rushed back in when the weren't ready. To my knowledge this is the second time Voss has rushed back Curnow underdone.
Was he underdone/not ready? To my knowledge this is the second time Voss has rushed back Curnow underdone. While Carlton supporters argue it may work, playing Cripps in the ruck is suspect. Walsh is injured a lot and looks cooked at 25.
Is Voss running them into the ground?
All the speculation is he was. He looked it. Fully fit even his off days he can be dangerous. He may not have been though you may be right. Was he underdone/not ready?
Or was he just toweled up by good Hawks defenders on a wet night in his first game back?
He’ll be better for the run, will be interesting to see how he goes up forward without HarryWas he underdone/not ready?

Is it him tho? Look I get it may very well be. But Carlton were well and truly in this game. Aswell as last week. Not sure it's exactly Voss's fault his players are mentally weak.Voss cannot coach

I'm pritty sure the media are to blame for the over rating of their playing list. It's understandable a coach pump's his players up at times. It’s the Voss coaching that makes them mentally weak.
Chest beating and Constantly Gaslighting your players into thinking they’re the best side only to see them break down mentally when they lose a few and then have to gaslight them again to get their belief back up is not a good way to coach.

Carlton never really even peaked after this rebuild, they just reached a point where they could occasionally actually win.
Sadly during the Bolton/green shoots/SOS era,the blues fans were violently aggressive, and violently adamant, not only about success, but some sort of ongoing dominance.
You reep what you sow, zero sympathy.
McKay, Walsh, Cerra, Motlop, McGovern, Williams. They would be almost 1/3 of the salary cap, yet each one of them is barely at AFL level.
Can't always blame Voss, when the contracts handed out to VFL plodders are worth millions of dollars.
That's a shameCan’t clean them all out unfortunately, the next three drafts are pure unadulterated filth.
You don’t want to be rebuilding, Blues will have to stay the course.
The really crazy part is Carlton traded their natural first and second round picks (currently pick 4 & 22) to Hawthorn last year. Entirely possible that the Hawks win the minor premiership and land a top 3 pick this year because of that trade. Can’t clean them all out unfortunately, the next three drafts are pure unadulterated filth.

Cripps et al have never even been good enough for a single top4 H&A season.I don’t think the Blues will mind too much, their window is the next 2-3 years while Cripps et al are still fit and firing.

They just aren't that good, and now almost time for Carlton to start selling another decade long rebuild.
A grade
Cripps
Walsh
Weitering
Curnow
TDK
B grade
Cerra
Hewett
Saad
C grade
Acres
M. McGovern
O. Hollands
J. Motlop
Kemp
L. Fogarty
J. Boyd
Z. Williams
J. Silvagni
D grade (or worse)
F. Evans
Cowan
Cottrell
Docherty (didn't used to be and used to be an A grader, but injuries and health ailments have caught up)
Haynes (same as Doch, but past it now)
L. Young
So you've got 8 A and B graders (rough analysis, but thereabouts based on the game tonight), and 15 C and D graders. Have some injuries/players missing, but it's just not the list to contend as it stands now. Bottom 6 is probably Bottom 4 in the league.
Think you’re being very generous here. Cripps, Weitering and Curnow are the only stars. TDK is on the way. Walsh spends too much time in the doctor’s office.
It starts to drop off rapidly after that.
