No one is going to sit in a park and look at trees before the game.
Let's face it, the MCG is not a good a place to watch sport as it used to be.
The ground has been changed to cater for corporates and advertisers, it has lost it's character.
The SCG and Adelaide oval are superior imo.

Do you actually go to games mate? Or just whinge on BigFooty. Maybe you need to look up from your phone next time & look at what other people are doing.

Yarra Park is often buzzing with people before games, especially family friendly afternoon slots.

If you're lucky now Richmond is shite again you might get to head up to Manuka Oval has trees a hill and little to no stands

I prefer grounds that are practical and make best use of the land they are on. The Adelaide Oval rebuild was done well. The SCG looks average in comparison

They are. Getting from one stand to another us like trying to solve a maze in some places. Those two beautiful old stands camouflage a pretty bog average stadium overall.

None, but's there's nothing distinguishing about the MCG now apart from the size.

It's a 100 odd thousand capacity stadium designed to cater for massive events both sporting and/or entertainment. I've been to a few worldwide and I'm sure there are many on Bigfooty that have been to more than me. What do you want from the MCG distinguishes itself from the others?

I suggest we severely narrow one wing, replacing it with a nature reserve and at the same time transforming the shape of the playing surface to a more natural footy oval shape - much like Kardinia park.

Lots of trees in Alice Springs. Bonus points for AP that some are sacred and can’t be removed despite being dead, so he can watch footy and feel a sense of smugness that the evil colonisers are suffering restricted viewing in some parts of the ground, as punishment for ruining an entire race.

A grandstand that's looks good and has been there for longer than 20 years.

Adelaide oval and the MCG are the 2 grounds I’ve been to most. Adelaide oval is very nice and a good place to watch footy, for a big game though you can’t beat the MCG.
