You can only beat who you play on the day. I regard the 2013 Grand Final as one of the worst ever. Doesn't matter. A premiership is a premiership. Are you going to reduce the value of the 2014 premiership because Sydney were crappo? No.

Last year's Grand Final, Geelong was good enough to win. Hawthorn wasn't good enough to make the finals. Likewise Geelong in 2015.
I think both clubs have been great over the past 20 years, and I respect Hawthorn for their ability to demand success, despite their shit start to the VFL

Geelong-Hawthorn is the best ongoing rivalry of hte past 15 years.
