carlton are as bad as Gold Coast and GCS beat Sydney, but i doubt that lightning will strike 2 times in 1 week, so im very optimistic and if things go well this year we could sneak into 5th or 6th spot and give our guys some good finals experience, the only thing is im in love with this draft this year and i want us to be in a position to take advantage of some quality talent if they slide, but finals are more important for the group so LETS GO HAWKERS!!!

To be honest, I’ll be very surprised if we win this game convincingly.. I am expecting a scrappy game where we still won’t know who’s gonna win half way through the 4th.. After watching the Suns beat Swans yesterday, anything is possible.

Good combination of the present and the future, hoping for a good win but more excited to see Brand get back to his best. Worpel have an impact.

It will be bitterly disappointing if we don't bounce back after last weeks fade out.

Time for some of our players to step up with no excuses offered (even for the youngsters) when playing the bottom side.

The blues don't even appear to be giving their all in recent outings, with minimal defensive pressure a sign they've shut up shop on 2018.

The have 2 players who could ruin our day.
Cripps and Curnow. Guns both of them.

If these two are let of the leash they could provide a spark of hope we don't need.

We want to get on top early and give the blues no flicker of hope .

Time to step up Hawks.

Unfortunately the answer is another couple of losses which none of us want.

I can’t see how Roughead plays on next year, it’s hard to watch a champion struggle so much physicallly.
