Jungle drums starting to beat...Heard a whisper this morning from same contact who gave me the Birch news and that Sicily will sign after trade period (although that could change if Hawks press him, he will be signing regardless) that Cogs will be in brown and gold, commitment has been given. I'm not an ITK but I do trust this bloke... Maybe a few things are starting to filter out of Waverley. I like the fact that Topiary isn't knocking anyone on the head about this, thats a positive.
What is the Birch news?

This wasn’t the guy that had Birch doing his groin & missing the rest of the Season, was it?

Give him credit.. he said Birch was cooked, wasn’t playing this week, I passed this on on a Wednesday.. I think the club put a lot of work and took plenty of risk getting Birch to play. He also gave me the contract on offer for Sicily and said Sic won’t be signing (confirmed by Tops) until trade/after trade period. Sic will sign, he will be a 1 club player but leveraging a bit atm. He gave me the news of Cogs having coffee with Clarko and Jags and Jags leaving mid convo (passed this onto a mod and some of the ITK’s Saturday who confirmed exactly that), so maybe he was a tad flippant with the Birch groin but effectively he has been pretty spot on.

Pretty sure Dodoro has alerts set up for this thread.
When the little red notification pops up on his laptop...

Hawkie_McHawkHawk its worth remembering that Judd has to be confident, he has an audience.
Even if Judd didn’t think they’re in with a shot, he’d still act like they did. McGuire acted similarly last year with the Lynch scenario when they kept asking him about having meetings with Lynch in sorrento. Did you think Judd was going to say “we’re no chance!”.
Eddie did have meetings with Lynch is sorrento.

Interesting. I don’t know much about him but I like the description on the kind of player he is that I was reading.

He's a quick player, mainly used by Lions in a half-back/ wing position. Really quick and decent skillls. Could go missing in games as well.

Played a big chunk of games last year but has been stuck in NEAFL this year. Guessing we like his pace and the fact he's lived in Melbourne before probably helps bring him down, if true.

Heres a short snap - love the tackle on Suckling, literally makes yards up in seconds.
