Hi gents, notice McEvoy wasn't listed on your injury list for this week so what's his chances of lining up this weekend?

Injury list has now been updated. Think it has 'test'. The report said he has pulled up pretty sore, I would say its unlikely he is playing this weekend vs GWS.

As an owner of Mcevoy myself I think I will just hold onto him this week.

I have Simpkin in a draft league. I don't get to watch Hawthorn to often so I don't know what failings he has in his game that means he is often first to be dropped or given the subs vest. He seem to score really well when given the chance but I can never pick him with confidence for fear of him being given the vest. Does anyone think that this might change anytime soon?

He seems to be "just OK" at most things but not excellent at any one thing in particular except for being versatile enough to come on as a sub late and have an impact. Will get the sub vest more often than not and will eventually get dropped to BH because of it so he can play a full game from time to time.

Doesn't seem like the sub type. Very much a work horse rather than an impact player. Hartung, Simpkin and possibly even Langford (as far as coming on making an impact) are more likely to see the green vest. That's just my opinion. Club may see things differently.

That's what most us are hoping for, but there's a chance he maybe overlooked. There are three players who are fighting for that spot left vacant by Hartung's injury and they are Simpkin, Langford and Hallahan. Most likely Simpkin will be given the nod.

Hallahan was the travelling emergency last week. Not sure if that helps or hinders his cause for this week

Has been told he needs to "work on some things". What those things are and how long it will take, we know as much as you. Mitchell will be back in a couple weeks so it might be worth just bailing on Langford now.

Stratton is ahead of him but Stratton is injured. For how much longer, again we know as much as you. Most of us thought he'd be back this week. Could be next. Who knows?

Ceglar and Lowden were very solid last week against the Eagles, and with Hale back in this week Mcevoy will have to work his way back through Box Hill.

He is listed to play there this week. I would trade him to Stefan Martin if I were you

West is out for the year and Luey is still listed as 6-8. I would say Martin plays the rest of the year as the number 1 ruck for the Lions.

Will Schoey play up forward or down back this week? Considering getting him in this week if he's gonna play forward as at only 280k has scored well while playing forward with scores of 94, 98 and 70 (in the rain) and with Hibberd out could score alright as an on field player for a week.
