It is how we make those suggestions.................I don't think it is victim blaming to suggest that we make better decisions that could lead to avoiding violence or sexual assault, it's just a way that we learn from experience to better protect ourselves.
I thought i was very, very clear earlier in the thread. Obviously not.
Depending on the context, she may not have put herself in a good position. We need less outrage over victim blaming and more emphasis on protecting ourselves for the world we live in.
Same goes for the players; we often hear that a player hasn't done anything wrong, but gets criticised for being in the wrong place at the wrong time of day.
That is a total contradiction of what they said earlier. Seriously, the media is a disgrace.
It is how we make those suggestions.................
Drink diving is (unfortunately) common in society.
* gets in an accident with a drink driver, not wearing a seatbelt.
Poor you but "Why weren't you wearing a seatbelt!?! ******* idiot!!!"
Rape and sexual assault are (tragically) common in society.
* gets r*ped after going home with two footballers late one night
"I hope the lady is ok"
Don't missunderstand where I am coming from, sexual assault is NEVER ok. But a bit of pro-active risk management.....
No

no Lethality I can read the intent behind your posts.. nothing offensive there at all.......Sure, I'm not condoning comments made about this case in this thread which have been deleted, and nobody should assume I am.
so we're talking a player that plays in box hill ? or just somebody who didn't make the premiership team? Its just confusing is it a high profile player or just some guy from box hill?
Griz this is it..

This is a subject i know way too much about.....
Lethality yes you are correct, but generally those into that sort of lifestyle have willing victims .. but as much as I think it is necessary to say that rape is really misunderstood, right now we need to focus of this incident and see what the evidence says.
