Depending on the context, she may not have put herself in a good position. We need less outrage over victim blaming and more emphasis on protecting ourselves for the world we live in.

Same goes for the players; we often hear that a player hasn't done anything wrong, but gets criticised for being in the wrong place at the wrong time of day.

That is a total contradiction of what they said earlier. Seriously, the media is a disgrace.

I still remember the Herald Scum saying Matthew Stokes had been dealing a commercial quantity of coke in the initial report.
Which was then amended to a substantial amount, then just dealing some pills, all in the space of 2hrs.

Drink diving is (unfortunately) common in society.
* gets in an accident with a drink driver, not wearing a seatbelt.
Poor you but "Why weren't you wearing a seatbelt!?! ******* idiot!!!"

Rape and sexual assault are (tragically) common in society.
* gets r*ped after going home with two footballers late one night
"I hope the lady is ok"

Don't missunderstand where I am coming from, sexual assault is NEVER ok. But a bit of pro-active risk management.....

No

Not guilty beyond reasonable doubt.

No such thing.

The burden of proof in a criminal case is: Guilty, beyond reasonable doubt. (In other words if there is a reasonable boubt as to whether a person committed an offence he must be found not guilty)

Griz I am sorry but I am way to upset right now to find it.. but I think I can say that others are also revolted as they are saying the same thing to this lunchboxlegend...

sorry I tried to pm you but am shaking too much to work out how

Different opinion to you, but not sure where I am being inappropriate.

Take a breath (or six). It's just the internet, and things can wait.

But do find the post, and I will look at it.

Err...that's precisely what I said but thanks

This is a subject i know way too much about.....
Lethality yes you are correct, but generally those into that sort of lifestyle have willing victims .. but as much as I think it is necessary to say that rape is really misunderstood, right now we need to focus of this incident and see what the evidence says.

Did you mean to quote Lethality instead of me? :)

I don't follow this at all. Someone said if they get off , ir means they are innocent.

I said no, it just means they have not been found guilty beyond reasonable doubt.
