I honestly think that no compensation discussion can take place until the human rights commission hearing on December 16th. The AFL investigation was brand biased, we all know that, so is fairly worthless. We have to wait for the hearing result.
Hawthorn football club did the right thing, I wouldn’t give any of them a cent only our heart felt apologies for any hurt they may have occurred, the rest is on the press, they had a field day feasting on this pointing fingers, wagging tongues. Trial by media is an insidious thing, there was zero respect for all involved.

Clarko jumped the shark.

I honestly believed he had done so by 2017.

His last finals win was 2015.

This is the major reason why I was one of the very few North fans who wasn't impressed when the club signed him at the end of '22.

Since then, it has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, with too many of the latter.

This latest chapter is another sad development in what has been a tumultuous period.

Not good for North (imo), not good for Hawthorn (obviously), and clearly not a good indication of where Clarkson is at.

In saying all of that, if there is compelling evidence that Hawthorn threw Clarkson (and Fagan) under the bus, then justice ought to prevail.

Must be frustrating for Hawk fans who put their hands in their pockets to shell out hard-earned money for memberships, only to see six (seven?) figures handed over to Clarkson for something which never should have happened.

On the other hand, if Hawthorn are innocent then this ought to be established and the good name of the club restored.

Apart from lawyers, is anybody actually enjoying this circus?

So, Clarko has some players on the wrong side by bringing up sensitive subjects and getting into their personal space , yet, Hawthorn foots the bill for his egregious ways?? How does that work? If , then, Clarko is screaming innocence and the AFL have let him off, then there's one thing left to handle. ...
