They’re wrong. There is evidence, they are confusing physical evidence, which if they’re expecting in a case like this they’ve setting a bar that doesn’t exist in the real world. People lose their jobs, career related licenses, and have rulings made against them in courts and arbitration all the time without a smoking gun with fingerprints or hidden footage of them red handed.

What’s more believable, multiple people come forward with corroborating stories which are false, they’re just in cahoots to gain something.. hawks commission a report and bury it for no reason, hawks refuse to release Egan from the NDA so he can testify about his findings because his findings … exonerate them?

Or multiple corroborating stories cause there was a pattern of behaviour, Hawks commissioned a report cause it was necessary, and they are hesitant to release Egan from his NDA cause his findings don’t look good for them.

That's what I was thinking. In the end it was the absolute worst thing they could have done. By attempting to cover it up everyone assumed that it was worse than it actually was. In the end, nothing really came out that was new that wasn't reported fairly early in the piece. It was really only when Josh Jenkins spoke out that any additional details came out, and whilst the specifics cemented that it was a shitty thing to do, it didn't really add much to what had already been said. If Hawthorn try and obfuscate the process a) I am going to assume they are guilty as sin and b) that there is worse stuff in there.

Yes, I too like to have my employer bring up the deficiencies in my upbringing in front of all my colleagues. Was a really dumb thing to do by MBA having wannabe douchebags. It should have been knocked on the head immediately and been called out as a mistake. Instead, the club sent out senior players to read reprepared lines about how the camp 'helped them as a father and a man', further alienating the players who were badly mistreated on the camp. Additionally, they tried to play it down and conceal what happened. In the end it became a 'crying wolf' scenario where the stuff that was being reported was pretty offensive, but they were playing it down, so there must have been worse stuff that they're hiding, but there wasn't.
