Maybe Guerra gets a game cause Clarkson can relate to him. Hit them when they arent looking.

So tell me then, how did you feel watching Matthew Lloyd for the past decade?

He wasn't particularly brave the way he went about taking blokes out off the ball and clipping them behind play. Josh Thurgood never played again after Lloyd whacked him across the nose with his armguard. And the Sewell incident was tantamount to assault.

Hypocrite.

Get a clue sook. Lloyd has never taken blokes out off the ball, or behind play. Liked to lay a decent bump from time to time. Back when Lloyd debuted, if you ducked your head like Sewel or Selwood, well you could expect to be cleaned up like that.

Delusional fairy, go and watch netball.

Sewell and Selwood don't duck their heads, champ.

What did they give the sorry **** when he ran past the ball (and therefore by definition, off the ball) and smashed in Brad Sewell's face.....was it 6? Certainly enough to retire the sniping bastard anyway.

Now run along you pathetic hypocrite.

Yeah we snipe a fair bit.

Still, kneeing a bloke in the balls is the cheapest thing we'll see on the field this year. Dog of a bloke. You probably wouldn't understand.

My thoughts exactly.

Well then, you'll be making a point of letting all the Hawthorn squealers know that what they describe ad nauseum as "the biggest dog act in football" is in fact equivalent to an accidental low impact head contact?

You make it clear you trust the tribunal's judgement in these matters, so honour would seem to demand that you set the misguided fellows onto the truth.

But then again we all know that Hawthorn, the dirtiest team of the last 40 years, are great at dishing out cheap shots but a bunch of sooks when karma manifests itself.

The biggest dog act in football is eye gouging!

thanks!

If the tribunral were consistent Lloyd would've been available for the Freo game had he not retired. Hurn did the same thing as Lloyd & got 2 weeks with the early plea. I suppose the main difference was that Port didn't carry on like sooks. Most clubs leave that to Hawthorn who like to dish it out but can't cop it back. How Bateman was available this week I'll never know, 1 week for a pre meditated strike is pretty lenient I thought. By the way when did Lloyd run past the ball when bumping Sewell?

you obviously know nothing about that game and why dermie got his just desserts. All season he had been charging in and picking off opposition midfielders. The cats were wised up to it and took out a precautionary mesure. Even dermie admits he had it coming. the sinping tactics go way back at the hawks.

Man you are deluded.

Lloyds bump was in play and only inches from being legal, had Sewell not lowered his body just before impact.

Don't you remember one of your club legends - Matthews - king hitting and shattering the jaw of a Geelong player about 100 metres off the ball.

And I won't even start on Dermie. That would take until next week to detail his dog acts.

And your club has the gall to call Lloyd a sniper. What a joke!

Not so much the sniping club, as the club that doesn't get away with anything.

Certainly there's been more "unsavoury" incidents involving Geelong players in the last few years....however strangely these aren't reported, sans for the occassional "yeah he was lucky I guess" comment on the couch.

I'm no longer suprised at the way we are treated, it's the downside of being the most successful side in recent history. If you aren't Hawthorn, you hate us for the success we had when you were growing up. What makes it worse, is the few 'Hawthorn people' in the media then go "too far" to be impartial in their commentary - in the hope of not being seen as biased.

There's so much hate amongst the footballing media, that their "angles" have created rather sad situation where Hawthorn players are judged to different criteria than virtually everyone else. The opposite appears true of Geelong players.

BTW Hawthorn were not successful when I was growing up.

Well you must have been born in the mid/late-90s...so <15? Rioli magic may not have been an appropriate comment, but his point was pretty clear.

It probably goes a way to explaining your chosen team and posts.
