You pacing again for Sydney?
Yep mate, should be 3:10 again. We got rated on our 2024 pacing job and provided you hit -30secs to 0 secs at each 5k split you are guaranteed a 2025 pacing gig. I hit them all so should be ok. Some pacers were at -1:40 mins at the finish which is quite poor.

Great! Well done with that consistency mate.

If my training goes as expected, I'll join you for 3.10. (Would still be a PB for me)

If training goes very well I'll aim for sub 3.

Awesome! Say hello either way!

reformer pilates is ****ed

My quads are dying doing squat pulses and this bitch goes “nearly finished our warmup” WARM UP? campaigner I am dying struggling squeezing the side of the reformer.

But other than that it was fun

Valencia marathon just kicking off on Kayo/Fox, 2 Aussies chasing national records, Izzy Batt Doyle and Andy Buchanan
Andy Buchanan 2:06:22, smashed the Aussie male record by over a minute, average 2:59 mins per km, insane

Izzy in 2:22:59, 3rd fastest Aussie female of all time, 3:23 min per km, amazing

Anybody got any ideas on a taping product I should use?

Situation is this:

Every time I get a knock on my knee (e.g. hitting the ground hard going for a ground ball) my knee blows up and restricts me slightly. It's not horrible but is enough to niggle me.

Is there some type of tape I could use in addition to my usual knee taping that would provide a small 'cushion' to soften the rigidity of the knock?

No idea but here are a couple of options worth testing…

A knee sleeve with padding.

A comprehensive knee protection sleeve with taping.

The perks of starting a new footy program (we don’t have a full team yet)

But rocking up to training and being the only one there with the coach so getting some good touch in

Thanks mate! Looking for a taping option preferably as the brace type.ones aren't ideal after the reco, but these might be the only option.

Reformer Pilates literally humbles you but there are so many good stability movements and ones that can be transferred into footy.
My upper body today is so SORE more sore than when I was doing straight strength

Stick with it, it gets easier (like anything). Reformer pilates saved me (mentally and physically) after a bad leg break when a car hit me.
Can't recommend it highly enough

Ouch! I hope everything is healed now.

I understand why AFL players are implementing Pilates into their routine it literally makes you solid.
