Went out for a look at Scott st the other day to watch WH and Wedderburn saw that Sawyer went down in the 1st or 2nd? Looked like a serious knee injury? Will he line up in round 1?

Slightly misaligned patella momentarily contacted the posterior after a slight hyper extension on contact with the ground, which upset the kinetic energy of the joint, taking it slightly off its revolution and placing it into an abnormal circumvolution. Should be available for round 2 I'm led to believe but may take advantage of the week off at Easter.

Were'nt keeping a points tally Ump but on goals kicked, the Hillies won by two. Had our best side in for the day and the signs looked pretty good. Matt Sawyer played a great disciplined game at Full Forward and did not go more than fifteen metres from the goal line as his knee was still a little bit sore apparently, but managed to kick eight goals. All four Bowles boys fit and playing together was also another good sign, kicked eight between them .

Kilmore coach quit last week, Jamesy has moved to Sunbury.

North had a four point win over Castlemanie yesterday with 4-5 to come back in this week for round 1.
