One key forward for another is great, but can they get the ball down to him? They had a solid front half this year but no midfield or speed to get it in there. I reckon the depth of onballers and flankers who can run and carry is nearly more important.
Colbo and Heathcote were nearly teams off onballers with key position players who could play in several positions, thats tough to beat.

Ben McCleary back on the park will make a huge impact on the ball and I am sure they will be looking to add a couple of others
 
look out for the hillies this season. word is that the new president gave the board a good serve about being tight as a fishes ass when it came paying players. who is the coach from newbridge a couple of years back.

The new President...or the new coach got stuck into the committee??

I wasnt aware Bobby Sawyer had even stepped down from the position...but anyway, this new coach comes with a pretty good rep, has had some success at other clubs from what im told.

Not much going on here of late.. Wasnt it this time last year that old mate Bondy was getting up the Hcote crew and telling them to spend up more in 2009?? Havent the tables turned.. Maybe bondy could give us an insight as to what is going on at Colbo in recent times ??

2 out of 3. Weeks off to Square I believe. Holowboski back to Deni ass coach
Knight to Rochester. Riordan may be back to Picola League home town of ?? with his brother.
Funky will also need a new chairman of selectors and assistants as rumour is Bart and Macka not going again either.

I heard that Weeks to Rochy and Johnson to follow. Got it from a handy source too......Jacobs boys have signed with E/H already I hear too

Has McCleary replaced Leigh Davies as assistant coach?
Whats the go with Davies? I hear Mounts have basically just let him go and then Golden Square didn't want him either. Can't be good advertising for the boy. Not too many guys leave a club after one year in a coaching role. Maybe times are a changing.

Honestly couldn't tell you what is going on. Obviously I was not at the club this year so do not know what is happening

prez and recruits include some young fella who went no. 2 in draft a couple of years back the name didnt ring a bell.:eek:

sounded tall, not darren pfeiffer think he would go back to the barrossa if he was cut from carlton. 2 dollar sooners of port at the footy in barrossa league acky knows.:thumbsu: from the same town as my misses.

Butts is a midfielder who coached Nathalia to a flag before coaching Echuca bombers for a couple of seasons before returning to Nathalia(his home town) last year . I haven't heard anything about Butler going to Locky but Tucky never has his fingers far from the pulse :thumbsu:

Correct. Could be in an assistant coach/specialist coach role. Super fit, hard at it and has very good footy smarts. Missed a lot of the 2009 season through injury. Has a couple of offers on the table but is good friends with Murphy, Halloran and Dohnt. Expect him to don the blue and white hoops next season.

But does he have a ticker.....cause thats what Locky needs to stop being perennially "almost there".

think the AC role is sewn up tucky but maybe a joint AC role or even just a player , either way he would be a handy acquisition .

Non HDFL issue here people but has anybody seen or heard from the "Ump" since Fev got the size 10 from Carlton? I believe he's taken it pretty hard, So chin up Tiger if you're reading this:thumbsu::thumbsu::)
