Yeah exactly just because he is a gun doesnt mean you should look to get him if hes not performing and be expecting that he will perform...
Im actually hoping Nick Reiwoldt gets stitiched up by Geelong this week. Fingers crossed! :thumbsu::D
BTW Chappy was one of my first picked, you can never say hes 'underdone', last year he missed 3-4 weeks with a hammy and came out and scored 100+.
Was good as captain for me this week!
Didnt choose Cornes... jealous at you buggers that did... I missed out on 64 points... but i guess thats no big deal... 400 pts ahead of the next person in my league !!!
another thing.
Do you think its worth dropping Houli in favour of Tuck?
Watched Tuck on the weekend and he got a lot of the kick-ins...aka cheap touches...but he was sitting on my bench...
If Houli cant score points against Carlton then when will he? dud!
Unfortunately he scored 91 vs the doggies in the preseason...but he doesnt seem to be playing the same role...
After Round 1 here i was hoping Jimmy Bartel might have a few bad rounds so i could get him for like 550...boy was i way off.

Roo will get 150 against Geelong. Here's hoping anyway.

Houli for Tuck is an extremely sideways trade, if anything I think it might cost you some money as Tuck might be more expensive than Houli now. Tuck also has a little more pressure to hold his spot compared to Houli. i think you're better off holding onto Houli as I will be.

Not a trade mate...Have Tuck on the bench and Houli in the starting 22, but its costing me points. not sure whats going on with Douli and his lack of point scoring!

P.S- you said Chad would Get 200....asif your going to be right about Roo :D:p

I said GAblett would get 110 (he got 115) and said Chadly would get 200 (he got 174).

So if my powers of deduction are correct them me saying Roo will get 150 means he will get approximately 132.6666667. :thumbsu:

Did you add the Geelong factor in though? :p

Hmmm what to do with Cox.
I'm thinking Cox to Kreuzer then leave me with 350,000 for Nicoski/Grundy/Other.

Would anybody consider Brett Jones to be a keeper?
I've got both him and waite pencilled in as keepers at the moment.

If I get to round 15ish, without heavy injury, or if either of them struggle, then I'll trade them up.

But I could definitely live with it...

(oh, and did I just read someone mention trading Cox for Kruezer? *bad* idea... :) )

I like your thinking re; Jones.
I guess ill work on upgrading the duds before i try and do anything else.
Aww he has a breakeven of 112 :(

All depends on how he plays this year, a little to inconsistent for me but if he proves otherwise go for it

palmer + 30k or masten + 1 trade???

Firstly, Burton - could be a keeper... just depends on his form. :D

Secondly, Palmer V masten + trade.

Well, that depends on the state of the rest of your cashcows.

Got enough to see you through? then you don't need an extra one. (unless you plan on keeping him... )

If Cox is out for 6+ weeks I can't see myself benching him.

Will definitely trade.
Kreuzer or Mcintosh.

Tough.. i'd love to put Kreuzer in and just upgrade players but very risky.

i hope cox is alright but if he isnt would it be a good idea to start him in place of cox?

and anyway im thinking of starting kruezer ahead of dud simmonds this week good move?

We would have taken tuck and rioli, and the games so fer have shown the hawks the most undervalued team - hodge lewis brown and crawf missing also meant lesser lights got possies

Great news.
Don't have Kreuzer in SC, is it worth making West/Hampson emergency?

I think he will be a late withdrawal but what if another player pulls out and I have a 20-30 point ruckmen emergency instead of a back emergency?

Hmmmm.

Rapidly losing patience with N. Jones. Geez, his disposal and decision making were ordinary on the weekend.

I'm thinking:

Jones -> Palmer

Then either holding onto the cash or going:

Dyson -> Priddis / Cooney / Adcock

Could also do that next week dependant on breakevens and such.

Backline 7th spot is still a little fragile with Proud playing and Hansen & S. Thompson on the bench but I can't fix it with the $280k I'll make from the Jones -> Palmer trade and pretty happy with the other 6 for now (Milburn, S. Fisher, P. Burg, Mattnet, Symes, Bradshaw). Forwards are all fine, apart from BJ and Jono who are giving me the s****, haha.

Thoughts?

I chopped Jones a couple of weeks ago.
How many trades you have left?

Jones > Palmer
Dyson > Priddis

looks good.
BJ and Jono are giving me the shits 2 ;)
