Thats what im planning to do. It aint to risky as hes almost cemented a spot in freo. He might be rested every 2-3 weeks so in those weeks make sure you have someone else playing. At the moment im rotating houli, masten, palmer, bird and tuck through my midfield so hopefully it pays of

Don't get to caught up in not doing ANY sideways trades in ANY circumstance.
At times they can be beneficial.
Geary looked shaky last week and the Saints have some good ins and a few waiting in the wings and it may be hard for him to get back into the side. Trading him for Palmer is not a bad idea.
Same with S. Thompson he seems to be out of favour for whatever reason. A trade to get him out of the squad now while you can for a massive cash cow is not a bad idea.
Just don't do it to often and without good reason!

He is expensive but is a player whom with adelaides defenisive penetration should reach 100 each year.
Other players of value in my team are Birchall, Mattner, and Heath Shaw, have been very happy with those 3
Ive got birchall and shaw and i dont really like picking up players when theyve gone up stacks in cash. In saying that he might still be a good pickup. Im 9k short of gilbee, which is what njones went down. I dont see many other people in that price range apart from goddard, mcleod or kenelly

Embley is also a late out for WC this week just reported on footy show..
Wallsey, spartan or any other sc guru out there I have a question.
Should I keep Matty Richardson in my team hoping like crazy he gets into some form starting this week or -
Trade him for Barry Hall or Medhurst?
Out of all the forwards in Richos price range I prefer these two but a bit worried about medhursts inconsistency but he is going better than my main forwards in my team which are Johnny Brown, Brad Johnson and richo. My other forwards are matty pavlich, brett burton, jason porpliza and josh hill. Tippet and gamble are emergencies.
Last week absolutely killed me having these three all score crapola and I don't want a repeat this week as I want to make sure I smash my round 1 opponent! HeeHee!
Need anyones opinions. I'm tempted to swap richo out for medhurst but hall could be a more consistent option. Who do you think will be better score wise in the long run?
Would anyone give richo one more chance this week against the dockers?
Already made a trade tonight, s.thompson out and harry taylor from the cats in.

I'm seriously considering Taylor in for Thompson. However Mackie is back next week. I don't like Selwood right now, Woemerri or however you spell his name has me interested.

Did my research on my 'casualties' tonight, the general vibe on the Brisbane board was the Proud was very stiff, and quite a few think he may still play. On the Carlton board they think Pfeiffer was stiff but won't play (he's on an extended bench) as Grigg is named on the field.
Well Embley is confirmed out so it is out of Nicoski and Ebert. Reports are Hansen, Glass and Cox are also in doubt. I think they will give cox a jab and play him a second ruck or up forward. They are really under the pump for injuries.

Hope Proud gets a gig but have Taylor as me 7th back.
Have Cox covered, hopefully its minimal time off.
What a shocking week and a ball hasnt been bounced.
On the Embley front I feel Ebert will come in, not Nicko.

Yeah overlooked that. It's late, I need to get to bed.
Some possibilities are:
Thompson to Selwood, Proud emg with Nico on the feild. You should scrap through.
Nico & Proud with pfeiffer emg and you cop a zero possibly two.
Downgrade Nicoski to Brown upgrade Thompson to Barlow and you shouldn't have a problem for the rest of the season.
