Pearce is better in terms of stats, but if you are strapped for cash, go boak or gibbs, as they are in a similiar price bracket

Midfield; Kane Cornes, Joel Corey, Adam Cooney, Danyle Pearce, Nick Stevens, Ricky Dyson. Reserves - Daniel Connors, Rhyce Palmer.

Forwards; Matthew Pavlich, Nick Riewoldt, Paul Chapman, Lance Franklin, Chris Tarrant, Alan Didak, Leroy Jetta. Reserves - Kyle Reimers, James Sellar.

Rucks - Troy Simmonds, Cameron Wood. Reserves - Shaun Hampson, Max Bailey.

Where do people see Nathan Jones going this year. Starting at 400k or thereabouts. Showed some promise in NAB Challenge. Worth picing him, or save some money and go someone like Gibbs around 330k.

N Jones will be a very good player for the dees this year. Hard at it, finds the pill and with TJ gone and Mclean not there yet, could be his year.

Backline - S Hurn has a little bit of the X factor about him, im a little sceptical about the hype but could be a great get. I would not start L Hansen or D Myers

Mids - Decent. Only query is R Dyson as his disposal is sloppy at times.

Forwards - I dont think Jetta will get a decent run, might need to look at something else.

Rucks - C Wood to start? Not sure about that one as his only a kid.Has shown some promise in the non important stuff so could go ok.

You're worrying me.

I've got Myers, L.Hansen and Jetta in my starting 22.

Jetta has been in good form during the pre-season and I would have pencilled him in for 22 games unless he dropped badly in form. Would you recommend any forwards under $150k for s starting spot?

I think Myers and L.Hansen too should play a few games this year.

Argh. I also dropped Simmonds who is a lock for 99% of teams to take back Kreuzner. My thinking is that unless you're Cox ruckman can score between 30-90 points a game and I needed the extra cash to upgrade Lucas to Chapman. Plus Simmonds is under an injury cloud.

Spent last year in the seconds. Laidley has suggested that he will be moved from the forward line into defense this year, but to be honest I can't help but think that they are trying it out solely because they can't fit him into the forward line anymore. Could certainly be named Round 1, especially in Sinclair's absence, but I can't see him staying in the team. Hopefully he proves me wrong, but for now I don't think I'd select him.

But the question is will he?

I guess it comes down to where he is played...

And how much TOG he gets...

But you should be able to find a little more value even under $412k...

Backs - I wouldnt be starting Neagle, but a good option as a reserve. Nicoski is a gamble, not sure where he will slot into the weagles outfit

Rucks - Kruz will get a decent run but will not score well due to limited TOG

Forwards - Bit of inconsistency in there ala Jones, Morton + Franklin

Your backline is a bit iffy with Nicoski, Neagle and Ellis all starting. You have plenty of value in your centres, maybe worthwhile downgrading one or two to add some talent to the backs. Listing two rookie rucks is very dangerous, you'll be extremely lucky if they even play, spend a little more and you should be able to get someone who will at least play, can be an emergency and hopefully make you some cash. Daniel Kerr has a bad hammy at the moment, might get on some other premium and maybe get him later on in the year. Not sure there is much upside in some of your forwards, at best some will hold their own but more risk in them losing value. All are fairly inconsistent, you could ride a rollercoaster with them.

As someone else said I think it is one of the better sides posted. Don't be offended by all I've written. I usually don't bother with others as there would be so much more to write.
