Every team up until the early 70's had white shorts for away games and black shorts for home shorts.

You may remember in 2004 The Hawks wore black shorts againts the Roos to comemorate a premiership birthday of some sort.[/q

Stupid, they had black numbers (when in 1909 they didn't even have numbers) And thewy had red shorts what's the point of paying homage to your past if your not going to do it properly.

Guernsey looked great though, can't wait to see it again in round 16 at Jihad Stadium.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the black numbers. What would have been wrong with a white square with red numbers?

Sad thing is it would be a good clash jumper for the bombers. But It is a South jumper so bad luck, perhaps they could wear it with a silver instead of white.
 
Really nice design for Sydney, and I really hope R17 is both heritage and rivalry themed. Would absolutely love to see Port Adelaide as Magpies take the field against the Crows...
