Look I don't want to say that serial_thrilla and Tonga Bob lost this at the selection table by not picking me, but I've never lost a Heritage Round match
One of the greatest recruits in recent seasons not selected by the yoof team, one of the greatest and most passionate SFA trailblazers not selected in the old legends team.

Just disqualify them both and give the Filthy Parkers the flag now.

Gotta agree with you, spudmaster was stiff not to get a nod.

After some strategic scheduling to allow the old folks home to play after the youf team have already played a match 2 hours prior. The S1-12 geriatrics prevailed by 13 points over the S25-36 youngsters making it 1 win 1 loss for all three generational teams.

In Game 3 of Heritage Round - the votes are as follows:

3 - loopy_cam - Hall of Famer and the person who came up with the HOF concept
2 - Tigerturbulance - continues to be in ripping form after his lengthy suspension
1 - GWS Goose - give this man an All-SFA already!

For the final time tonight, here is the donation link to support the Women and Children's Hospital Foundation. There are plenty of great stories of their work on the first page and Wosh will arrange a badge for the donors.

We have a site wide notice for this up now, and everyone who donates will receive a Womens and Childrens Hospital Fundraiser Badge.

I use to do so more regularly in the early S20s.

Headless would remember games where it's close with 5minutes to go and I would say "I'm going to make some tea" and not return for half an hour.

Or post this ad as everyone waits for the next line in the sim to see if the deciding shot at goal went through or not

Have just donated ❤️
Was just reading some of the stories from page one. So good to hear of positive outcomes for so many of these kids 🥹😊

It was my prompt to start a new degree. Sometimes I caught the end of the match during the graduation ceremony.

Another successful event where we have managed to celebrate the league's history and also raise some money for a great cause.

Want to thank Dingster, Headless, The Filth Wizard, Tonga Bob and serial_thrilla for taking the time and energy to select the teams, put together the draft order and write-ups and post them during the week.

Big thanks to philreich for helping set up the fundraising page and advocating such a great cause. Wosh for arranging the badges and usual admin help behind the scenes, TheInjuryFactory for the excellent work in the match thread OPs and Heritage Round jumper designs again.

Also thanks to all who engaged with the concept during the week and donated, you're all what makes the SFA great and why it's been a thriving community centred around an RNG for the past 23 years! 👍

I could so see myself doing this!

David Warner could sell ice to Eskimos, or sandpaper to gullible junior cricketers.
