Hottest 100 of 2014 prediction thread

Out of interest thewitness (and I'm not sure how many years you've been doing this) does a song outside your top 200 make the Hottest 100? Or since you've been doing it what is the longest shot to make it in?
I've been doing it for 5 years plus the past 20 years countdown.

The past 20 years countdown, 3 songs from outside my 200 made it in the top 100, but that had a much wider spread of votes anyway.
No Aphrodisiac Tipped 228 finished 58, Little Talks tipped 228 finished 92 & Big Jet Plane tipped 258 finished 81.

In 2009 I had 3 songs from outside my top 200, 7 in 2010, 3 in 2011 but those three years had very small totals of votes counted about half then number compared to the more recent ones.
2009 (first year only about 7,000 votes counted) Dizzee Rascal's Holiday tipped 456 finished 80, Wolfmother's New Moon Rising tipped 339 finished 75, Art vs Science's Friend In The Field tipped 281 finished 74.
2010 Gypsy & The Cat's Jona Vark tipped 455 finished 64, Kings of Leon's Radioactive tipped 282 finished 76, Vampire Weekend's Holiday tipped 282 finished 67, Andy Bull's Dog tipped 215 finished 68, Bliss N Eso's Reflections tipped 215 finished 53, Bliss N Eso's Down by the River tipped 215 finished 41, Xavier Rudd's Time To Smile tipped 215 finished 94.
2011 Naked Kids tipped 285 finished 95, In Your Light tipped 225 finished 87, You Should Consider Having Sex with a Bearded Man tipped 225 finished 99

There was only 1 in 2012. Allday's "So Good" which I counted at #241 and came in at #95.
None in 2013 from outside of my 200 made it in.

^ same, it's a cracking track. the whole album is incredible but Ten Tonne Skeleton is my fav

and even though it's far from their best work, I'd be surprised if the Fooies don't chart with Something from Nothing, they always seem to do, even with Wheels the other year

Yeah was one of my favourites this year for sure! Almost hard to believe they're a two-piece at times

It's okay if we don't hear Taylor Swift this Hottest 100, because we'll most likely be hearing Miley Cyrus at one point.

(I'm actually being serious, We will most likely hear Miley Cyrus at one stage during the countdown)

really? why? would've thought last year was the time for that. Iggy Azalea is more likely

The Triple M listeners will come out of the woodwork and vote en masse for the Foos I'm sure. And they're also less likely to post about it on social media too I would imagine.

nothing wrong with that, much rather see the Fooies chart than some of the other garbage that'll be in there this year tbh
