I feel great. Been looking forward to squaring off against the Saints in a final for years.

Can't they their side worries me much. They will give a good account but as long as we negate Reiwoldt we'll be fine.

Right, negate Riewoldt...........that means playing Harry Taylor on him LOL so that your "best" defenders Scarlett & Harley can hang around like sheep dogs for easy kicks!!!!

Maybe the Cats will win.

The point is the team who most wanted to meet Geelong, got there.

The Saints self-belief and great form have skyrocketted them from mid-table early to fourth spot. They beat several finalists along the way, winning eight of the last ten matches.

Geelong, through their spokesperson and coach, are sounding particularly arogant. The Saints are eager and energetic and want this. Geelong just seem to be playing for their reputation. The Saints have nothing to lose. Geelong have everything to lose. Especially their "invulnerable" status.

After the match the question marks about Geelong will be voiced and the Saints will be considered a genuine threat.

Bloody hell - I reckon you're seriously over-estimating us. We were so bad from rounds 17-19 - don't you remember us losing to West Coast and Collingwood - and nearly getting rolled by Port? Three wins (two of which have been over lowly opponants) is a nice way to finish, but please - we are a long way from the finished item.

Geelong wouldn't let Raph Clarke, James Gwilt, Shane Birss, Clint Jones or past Lara, let alone see them in contention for a spot in their 22.

I say it every year and I'll say it again: I don't care how we get there, but so long as we are in a Preliminary Final and in contention to win the game with 15 minutes to go - I'll be pleased. Because from there, it's completely and utterly level pegging with the three other teams.

If we get spanked this week, but roll Adel/Coll the week after and face Haw/WB for a spot in the GF, who's complaining?

I think we're outside chance this week; but so many things would have to go right. For starters, we'd need to kick straight. We'd have to convert at closer to 75% to have even an outside chance.

Gonna be a great week either way. The build up will be big, Geelong fans are confident, St Kilda fans are hopeful...

Let's see what happens. It's going to be one hell of a September.

Rock and roll, kids.

Interesting to note the join dates of most smug cat fans who are posting here. Just happens to coincide with the time they started to look good. Where were they previously I ask?

Probably going to games for the last 35 years and looking at pr0n on the net and just happened to stumble across this site, lol

It's funny how the date you registered on BigFooty suddenly determines how long you've been supporting your club for.

Just let him do what he does a lot of the time against the Cats, gets plenty of it up on the wings and deep on the flanks. It doesn't hurt us.

Any chance to have a go at Milney can't be passed up.

Whoever we play over the next few weeks go in "with nothing to lose" so people must still be under the impression that the cats can't handle the pressure. 3 wins in September last year, 2 in excess off 100 points, followed up with a 21 and 1 home and away season means that we handle it reasonably well.

Add that to the fact that unless Matty Stokes is again crucified by the match review panel, Matty Egan is the only cat that isn't up for selection this week. Kelly, Mackie, Rooke and Wojcinski are all chances of coming in and the Tommahawk has bagged 10 in two weeks in the scoobies after coming back from injury.

Roo and Kozi need to fire and Hayes, Dal Santo and Harvey need to beat the cats midfield significantly for an upset. Just can't see that happening though with the cats to double team Roo (and rightly so as the boys playing great footy) and Lingy to make Lennys afternoon a biyatch.

Saints have a lot of good attacking power, so are always dangerous. . saying that Geelong fans cant help but be confirdent just because of the year we have had.

I very much look forward to it!

10 kicks, 7 handballs,13 marks 3 goals 2 behinds on one leg.......... Taylor did a great job.
How did he go on Hale last week?

Heh.
Fess up - did you actually watch the game or just look up the stats?

If you watched the game you would know Reiwoldt kicked early goals on Harley.
Taylor moved onto him and did and did an excellent job.

Cats fans will be shitting themselves with the form of the 7 other threats to back 2 back flags.

Very lucky to have finished top spot with an inconsistent year and all the turmoil at Skilled.

Weak spine, fragile defence, slow midfield & impotent fwd set-up.
Too reliant on too few glory hunters and lacking discipline to do the team thing all too often.

Ohh & what a crap coach with a tactically inept game plan.

They will be lucky to survive another year
I predicted it first folks - Cats to the West of Sydney in 2010...Blacktown Pussies.

Unbeatable, arrogant Cats supporters seem a bit too about Riewoldt. Bit out of our comfort zone are we?
I didn't make the comment that Taylor did a good job on him......maybe you should have prefaced it by saying that he did a good job on him for the short time he played on him after he flogged Harley.
Wonder how Roo will go on two good legs this time?

Pretty good player that Riewoldt, but let's see how he goes when the kitchen is at it's hottest. He doesn't have a great record. ;)

Meh. He kicked 3. He didn't 'flog' anyone.
You laughed about Taylor lining up on him. Taylor had him covered last time - FACT.

Now move on - you have bigger worries to be honest, like you slow as treacle midfield.

Again, you seem to be spending far too much time on Riewold and a side that has a slow as treacle midfield and you seem to think you have covered.
How is that comfort zone?;)
