Hey all,

Just wondering how do I stream games legally in the US. I am in US till July and really want to see the Carlton games live, and also the NAB cup games if possible. How would I go about doing this? Also if anyone is in Philadelphia and wants to go to a Frat party let me know.

Cheers

OK-Good service. About US$6.00 per game. But you have to watch it live.

I've streamed approximately 20 games last year. Had problems with a couple of games. One were they lost connection half-way through the final quarter. Image quality is not HD, but adequate enough to watch it through a TV if you hook it up right.

Does this service work in Australia?

so people living over seas can purchase any game of there choice but not for people living in australia? strange

Makes total sense. C7/10 and Fox pay hundreds of millions for the rights. The overseas rights are sold for bugger all. The networks pay all that money for exclusivity. Some people just get Fox to be able to watch their team every week. If you could buy the odd game that wasn't on FTA, that would be less likely to happen and Fox would put a much lower value on the rights.

BTW - DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING associated with the AFL or Telstra if you have a Mac. It's simply not supported.

+1 on that. It's the dark ages!

And what bugs me the most is that they know about it, but aren't able to fix it. Incompetence.

As for streams, apparently they're out there, but for obvious reasons, aren't discussed on open forums.

Not streaming as such
but this site may be of use to some
styled on the testmatch couch that ran out of England for The Ashes

they will initially cover games being done by Fox as they are not generally available to many still.
