I cried after the '97 grand final, but to be fair I was still in primary school.

Generally I only get really cut if I'm on the piss, for example watching Dogs vs Saints this year in a Dog supporting mates house had a few too many ended up throwing a beer bottle at his TV (Shattered on a brick wall behind it, no damage but needless to say he still wasn't impressed)

Very filthy when you leading and key forward biffs someone for no reason and effectively snuffs out premiership asperations. I would suspect behind closed doors the club is seething like I am.

Depends on the game. I'm much more filthy if it's a game we should have won, like all the games against Carlton we have dropped in recent years.

The 99 prelim was by far the worst. I went to the game then flew out to Europe straight after the game. I didn't say a word the whole way to England.

I go for Geelong, we don't lose :p

After the Sydney SF in 2005 I just starred at the TV for about 5 mins in shock and then cried (I was 12 or 13 then). Worst feeling ever... just totally stunned. Actually late in the game I got a pretty bad cramp in my leg from how tense I was haha.

my friends generally avoid seeing me for a few days after a melbourne loss
Not to popular this season then ay?

Well different situation...
last saturday late in the last quarter vs collingwood
i thought the didak kick went though for a goal
so i punched the front door as hard as i could
then realiseing it missed. with all the hype it didn't hurt
but i couldn't move it other wise it hurt
after the game was over i settled down
IT HURT alot
went to hospital they told me i have a broken hand
not good

A few years ago, I was coming home from an Essendon loss to the Doggies. It was the game Lloydy did his hammy. I was really pissed off. My brother (who supports the Doggies) was giving me shit the whole way home. So when we turned the corner to get into my street I couldn't take it anymore so I grabbed the footy he was holding and booted down the street. Then I verbally abused him. For weeks after he called me a sore loser.

Do you get really upset when your team loses?
Or do you just accept it in your stride?

Give us an example of just how upset you can get.

I remember kicking public toilet doors in a shopping centre on the way up from Melbourne to Brisbane after watching Collingwood knock Carlton out of the finals in 1980. In 1985, I didn't have a video so I recorded the audio with a tape recorder in front of the TV. Well North came back to beat the Blues in the Elimination final and I threw the tape recorder from the second storey house balcony into the middle of the road where it shattered. I remember walking around and around my back yard while Collingwood skipped out to a good lead in the 1981 GF. When I went back in, it was only a 9 point three quarter time margin.

Fortunately, I'm no longer a hot-headed teenager so I only yell at the screen and stamp my feet like a two year old.

Funnily enough, I take defeat a lot better when I am at the match. I guess it looks easier on TV, so you expect that your team could have done better.

After last years finals loss to North, I went for a drive to a friends house, only to be so distracted/upset by the loss that I drove straight into the back of another car.

Certainly wasn't my day.

As long as we're competitive and put in a solid 22 man effort, I'm happy enough.

When we get smashed playing crap wishy washy football I want to hit someone.

In the days when we lost our home finals, when we were given the Chokers tag.

Twice i smashed the arm of my lounge chair, and had to repair it.

Nowdays i find it hard to even watch us play........i'd rather get updates on the computer, i still get very upset. When we lose i'm like a bear with a sore head for two or three days.

I enjoy going to a game though, although if it's close, i'll duck off to the bar and down a few nerve calming beers.

VERY FILTHY.

My family knows to not talk to me everytime Swans lose (I felt sorry for them last year, seeing as the Swans played badly throughout the season). I literally slam the doors, storm my way across corridors and snap at anyone who talks to me. The only way to release my anger is ranting nonsense and insults on BigFooty.

The last time i was very very filthy was when we versed Brisbane Lions last year, when we drew. When Brown kicked that goal from outside 50, I kicked the coffee table (it skidded on the floor a couple of feet), I pushed the sofas and I threw my mobile phone on to the floor. It happened very quickly but I was fuming.

After last weeks' loss to Geelong, I had sharp nails so I dug my fingers into my face... yep, I have marks on my face right now. I cried a bit because the frustration was overwhelming. Its frustrating when Swans lose...

A long time ago when Fremantle were truly woeful and we lost to them I was ropeable.
At a pub later that day my friend was giving it to me so I gave him a punch to the gut and told him to shutup.
Felt really bad about it straight away though and apologised but he got the point.

When we lost to Goldstink in the 2001 PF I was at a BBQ for a farewell and I can remember just sulking in the corner - no one talked to me

Have gone to bed many times at 5pm on a Saturday afternoon after a loss

Last year at the Gabba when then Hawks were terrible I punched the brick wall behind me and did some damage to my knuckles

I've realised that I need to surround myself with cushions rather than remotes as well

l remember one of my old bosses he is a flaming mad collingwood supporter if the pie;s lost look out Monday morning you would do your best, to stay clear from him at least till lunch time at least. And if they won he would be in he;s own little happy world.......my g/f and l both go for the cats she gets shitty if we lose lately she been in a great mood lately and myself l don't really get that shitty the only game l got really shitty watching was the p/f V's collingwood last f*cking tense as l prob would of smashed the telly put it wasn't mine

Well I'd just like to say when you support a frustrating team like Fremantle, you can go from ecstatic to filthy all in the space of a quarter.

To be honest I'm a lot worse at home than at the game. Twice in the past 2 years I've had to walk out of home to calm down because it would be tense at home as i had pissed my parents off for the whole game. At the game my footy record gets chucked on the ground quite regularly and I've been known to stare into space like no-one else is there.

I sympathise with the person who says that the footy often determines their mood. I find it does the same to me and it sure as hell pisses my friends off.

I guess we can safely say I get very filthy when we lose.
