Thats the whole problem, he doesnt want to do that coming in earlier in the innings and he seems to try and take the role of hitter as his so when he comes in well before the team wants to take its powerplay he just tries to survive
If the top order was better then he would be right, he has a good record at no5 but I imagine most of his runs there are after the top 4 have managed to bat for about 35 overs. He however also loves no3 where he can go at his own pace right from the start
