I count 7 spots on the list assuming Harbrow is elevated.

Hudson will come on during trade week. It will be a swap of 2nd rounds picks.

Seven spots would become five if we swap picks for Hudson and Callan. Assuming we give a second rounder for Hudson and a fourth rounder for Callan, that'd require us to take three picks late in the draft. Perhaps we'll trade for another player in the AFL, PSD a player, or draft a SANFL / VFL player. I honestly can't see us drafting another 5 18-year-olds to go with the skinny lot we got last year. Over 25% of our list wouldn't be body-hardened.

We would be getting out of the Hudson trade very easily if that were the case. Adelaide will want adequate compensation - they are loosing Meesen as well! A third rounder is the cheapest I would expect... second rounder seems fair enough to me.

you'd think we'd be looking at a couple of discards from other clubs or a decent player in a trade. Hopefully Eade has a few in mind and the club is doing well not to leak out the info.

We need to replace 10 players including rookies.

If Hughes and Harbrow are elevated that is 4 rookies and 6 senior players.

Do You have to elevated or can you just be retained on the Rookie list? Because Gavin isnt yet ready for AFL but is holding his spot on the rookie list.

How Marty Pask didnt make it strikes me as obsurd.

He finished 3rd in the Werribee Best and Fairest. Played 15 games out of 20 and still managed 3rd place, what more should/can a rookie list player do.....? Pace isnt everything and would hardly suggest he is slow, especially for a guy that's 192cm and weighs close to 100kgs.

Dom Gleeson ended up winning for anyone who is interested.

Good effort. I was surprised when he was let loose. But i don't think he'll ever make it at AFL level.

I would look at some mature age draftees. Scott Thompson from Geelong VFL is not AFL listed player. He was a standout in the VFL Grand Final. If he is still around, i would seriously pick him up in Round Two.

i know pods is around 28 now but why not put him on a cheap 1 year contract and see how he goes. then if he turns out to be a dud it hasnt really cost us anything, i think that more logical then putitng another skinny 18 year old on our list

There have been many discussions about Podsiadly on this forum, he just won't cut it in our team and it would be a waste of time to take up on of our selections for him you never know we could unearth a Westhoff type in the draft. Every other club must be of the same opinion of Podsiadly as all have bypassed him on selections in previous drafts.
