how many hawthorn players would get a game at geelong ?

Nah you're probably right. I was going to say any Geelong supporter with half a brain would know but then, there are a few here that have proven they'd be struggling to muster up half a brain between them.

But I reckon just about any Geelong supporter could find spots for Dunstall, Brereton, Mew, Tuck, Ayres etc, half a brain or not.

Cheers. :thumbsu: Don't forget my 2nd fav player from the 80s (after Derm) - the great Gary Buckenara.

Wait up. Murphy would take Egans place, Renouf would take Ottens place and Whittecross would take Bartels place. And that is just the Average players Vs average payers for both clubs. And that is still Men Vs Girls. Pussybaggers still talking women's business.

How many hawthorn players would get a game in geelongs current line-up? Well judging by the last 3 times the teams have played each other I'll take these players thank you very much:

Roughead
Lewis
Ladson
Mitchell
Williams
Osborne
Ellis
Crawford
Bateman
Young
Sewell
Taylor
Birchall
Hodge
Guerra
McGlynn
Franklin
Croad
Gilham
Murphy
Brown
Campbell
:thumbsu:

this IMO is geelongs best 22

B: milburn scarlett harley
HB: enright taylor mackie
C: selwood bartel corey
HF: rooke mooney chapman
F: johnson hawkins stokes
FOLL: ottens ablett ling

INT: blake kelly hunt wojinski

so the question is who from hawthorn would get a game at geelong and whos place would they take?

franklin can take hawkins spot
hodge cant take wojinskis spot
mitchel can take kellys spot

who else ? their is not 1 other player who would get a game at geelong form hawthorn

if you name a hawthorn player you have to say whos spot they will take

First of all, Geelong's forward line is crap.
* Mooney is overated and Roughead sh*ts all over him!
* Johnson only kicks goals when the side is up and If he happens to kick more than 3 goals its a career highlight.
* Hawkins makes Anothony Rocca look like a sprinter.
* Stokes...good in a good side.
* Chapman by far the Cats best forward.

Franklin, Hodge, Mitchell, Sewell, Roughead, Croad, Bateman & Lewis would EASILY be walk up starts in Geelongs starting 18!

In: Franklin, Roughead, Sewell, Hodge, Mitchell, Croad, Brown, Campbell, Birchall, Rioli, Bateman

Out: Hawkins, Mooney, Selwood, Enright, Taylor, Woj, Blake, Mackie, Stokes, Hunt, Kelly.

Lol Brown. You know you're good when Hansen kicks 4 on you :eek::eek:

Whose spot is Rioli taking, and then wasting? Kid would be doing alright for the Bendigo Bank Cats, but that's about it.

Birchall is terrible - Mackie is twice the player Birchall is.

Haha Mackie, HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH

I know geelong supporters overrate their players but this tops the lot.
Mackie is more feminine looking than Dale Thomas and that's saying something. Plays like one too.
Mackie's biggest achievement to date is 'supposedly keeping Franklin quiet' in a game where Franklin had 20 touches.
Brown would be a walk-up to Geelong, it's not his fault the coach is stupid enough to put him on a player who is twice his height.

Which Dawks would get a gig at Geelong. Lets see.

Duddy Franklin - water boy
Stuart Dew - runner
Cyrli Rioli - bootstudder
Sam Mitchell - fluffer
Luke Podge - dietician

Franklin...Yes
Hodge...Um no...we don't want players who shit themselves come finals
Mitchell...won't fit in our midfield
Sewlell...who? ohh we have Ling, Ling > Sewell...
Roughead...Yes
Croad...LMFAO...just leave that one alone
Bateman...Refer to Croad
Lewis...BAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAH...that's just classic comedy.

B: Brown (Haw) Scarlett (Gee) Ladson (Haw)
HB: Sewell (Haw) Croad (Haw) Birchall (Haw)

F: Johnson (Gee) Roughead (Haw) Williams (Haw)
R: Taylor (Haw) Ablett (Gee) Hodge (Haw)

INT: Mitchell (Haw) Campbell (Haw) Morton (Haw) Dew (Haw)

I'd say 19 Hawks in the Geelong 22 if you were to be honest and completely unbias.

Even with Scarlett there it is still the worst backline in the AFL, which says a lot about the five *****s he is surrounded by.

Well, the super phaser should certainly know all about *****s.

But let’s have a look at his observations. This "worst backline in the AFL" is actually ranked 4th in least opponent points per game.

Now say what ever uneducated crap you want, but...

Brown, AA in 07 and will be in 08. Best little defender in the comp.
Croad, former AA and potential to get their again. Good form this year.
Sewell, not really a backman, but Hawthorn B&F winner 07 possible AA.
Birchall, opposition coaches now give him no space and can be tagged, very valuable for his kicks and run from defence.
Ladson is one of the most underrated in the comp. Very handy for us, great foot skills.

At least 3 maybe 4 of those would walk into any side.

Scarlett would fit in nicely though.

I would say you're being completely bias and giving Geelong fans ammunition for an attack.

If your fair dinkum at least put Chapman in the starting 22. 18 Hawks is a bit fairer than 19:thumbsu:. Mind you, I think you're being a little unfair leaving Osborne out.

If Brown or Croad get AA this year, all esteem has been removed from this honour.

Honestly, Brown could take Hunt's spot, but that is it. Who would any of the others replace in the Geelong side?
