I have 11 trades left. And my team is absolute crud.

Don't have Malceski, Ablett, Pavlich, Chapman, a good ruckmen, no midfield emergencies, no jPod.

Ewww.

I have 16 left. I'm more interested in overall ranking than league success. Is it silly to hold them any longer or should I make 2 this week?

B: Hodge; Goddard; Enright; Goodwin; Waters; Maguire; Gram (Nason; Davis)
C: Ablett (c); Barlow; Dal Santo; Ball; Trengove; Judd (vc) (Bastinac; Shuey)
R: Sandilands; Hille (Warnock; Lobbe)
F: Brown; O'Keefe; Ballantyne; Hall; Tippett; Gray; Dangerfield (Podsiadly; Gumbleton)

Cheers.

i have 15 trades left and so far my trades have been

grundy out for malceski (grundy going really well but needed to get more cash to upgrade somebody else)
tippett out for jbrown (good trade at the time, but brown looks injured)
ldavis out for goddard (best decision i've made)
mitchell out for hodge (another good move)
riewoldt out for chapman (had to trade riewoldt and chapman has been playing really well)

I have a 3 week plan for my trades in the next 3 rounds

After Round 7 Trade Jack Ziebell for Nathan Fyfe

After Round 8 Trade Barry Hall for Jack Watts

After Round 9 Trade a midfielder for Ablett and sell Goodwin or somebody else for a better defender

14 left with $175,000 in the bank. None this week.

Trades so far:
Rd 4: Reiwoldt > Pavlich, Tippett > Rioli
Rd 5: Clark > Cox. Loving the Sandi & Cox ruck combo
Rd 6: Hunt > Davis, Dangerfield > Goodes
Rd 7: Bastinac > Howlett

Trengove > Murphy/Swan/Montagna among others next week.

13 left.

Went Ottens-Cox which gives me Sandi-Cox though so I'm happy and set there.

Only Martin to upgrade in the mids, then the backs and fwds.

$300 k in kitty but waiting for goddard to drop a bit.

at $576k...has he got much more to drop? He might just score 400 against the bombers at Etihad this weekend... :p

138 BE so he might drop even against Bombers.

Besides, Martin has BE 29 so he hasn't peaked yet. I'll wait a couple of weeks.

10 left

Sitting Undefeated in 3 leagues and 613 overall.

Probably just need to trade in Pav and another premium defender. Maybe a 3rd ruckman who is playing. Assume 5 trades there

Leaves 5 for injuries in finals

ROFL Good point,

I might bring Ablett in last and still have 5 trades left with all so-called premiums except Hille/Barlow.

If I don't bring Ablett in then I'll have 6 trades

I think you can safely call Barlow a premium, he's 7th in the league on points

9 trades left with 125k in bank. Will downgrade 4 more times to get 4 more premiums. That will take my premium total to 21/22 leaving me Hille as my dud and 1 special trade left for a late drafting of Riewoldt once back from injury. This of course will mean no quality on bench and possibility of heaps of donuts if injuries ravage me.

To win, it's a risk I must take

Where you ranked?

theres still 14 rounds to go mate. If you use all your trades in the next few weeks can guarentee you wont win. Better off carrying players like, Hille, Maguire, Waters, Hall in the team and having some trades left imo.

Rank 1100 odd. The team is okay for now, and I may be able to keep a steady 2250/2400 if I stay. I might try and stop trading, but I can't promise :(

Better off to try and maintain that average and conserve some trades imo. What does your team look like now?

Only takes 2-3 injuries you cant cover and your side is averaging 200 points less per game. If you dont have any trades within a few weeks your ranking will plummet.

For example Pods is rested down the track, Brown goes out for 3-4 games. Your emergency is Gumbleton who scores 40-50 and no second emergency/not playing.

-150 points. Just an example , but with no trades youll be watching helplessly as your team disentegrates.

Team isn't too bad. Could see myself keeping it....maybe offing warnick for skipper next week...would give me 8 trades and 250k in bank.

Backs: Hodge, Goddard, Malceski, Enright, Shaw, Maguire, Schmidt (Nason, Robertson)
Mids: Ablett, Barlow, Selwood, Bartel, Boyd, Judd (Armstrong, Shuey)
Rucks: Sandilands, Hille (Warnock, Grimley)
Forwards: Chapman, Pavlich, Brown, O'Keefe, Goodes, Podsiadly, Gumbleton (Rockliff, Hitchcock)

Nice team, your mids are especially strong. I would still sit tight, you have most of the must have players. Not sure skipper is gonna offer very much. I think its ok to have Rocky, Hitchcok and Gumby covering f 7 for the time being.

If you have 2 trade look at upgrading Schmidt and Gumbleton which at least leaves you 4 or 5 trades for ltis.
