Talking to some Culcairn boys on sat night & they said Donnan has been struggling this year. Not sure if he's injured. Has only kicked 8 or 9 goals so far ??

Very funny stitches youre a real comedian , not sure who you follow but thats a real cheap shot.If you look back over the last 10-15 years every club except maybe osborne and howlong has spent some time on the lower rungs of the ladder so dont get too far ahead of yourself because it might be your club who is in trouble one day . It takes a lot of work to build a strong club,it takes a lot more work to keep it strong...:mad:

have to agree with you mad hawka, not like walla doesnt boost a good record, winning the most senior premierships of any club in the hume league and never won a wooden spoon. i suppose they can have a couple of years to pay us out, we will be back

Quick word on the Jindera v Walla game yesterday. I'd like to applaud the walla players and supporters, the boys on the field had a real crack early, and although the scoreboard probably didn't look too good at the end of the day, Muzz should be very proud of their efforts. Even better was the number of supporters who stayed back in our clubrooms to do their awards. It's funny how footy goes in wheels and roundabouts. I'm sure with patience and persistance The Hoppers will be back around the mark sooner than we think.
 
Anyone else prepared to have a go at naming an interleague team after the latest round of matches ?
Brock-Burrum people were obviously on the money with Story, as im told he took the points against Gleeson and Parr on the weekend. So he probably deserves to be the starting ruckman from the team named earlier.

p.s - nice post IHTT's, good to see clubs giving recognition for post-match attendence efforts by opposing clubs, those type of things generally go unnoticed these days :thumbsu:

Going off form, have made a few changes. Stiil not sure about Barnes but with his record over last year and this year its hard not to put him in. Replaced Nicholson with Baker, included T.Price, Barber & Guest. I reckon Barber one of the best big men in comp!

Was great to have the Walla guys hang around and do there awards and stay for a few beers. Also good to see quite a few Jindera boys buy tickets to Walla cent a number day. Sportsmanship at it's finest....

Surprised no one has mentioned the "quality" of the umpiring on Saturday:D

Are you the same person sanchez/rollin ?
Going through your previous posts it is quiet easy to see that you are both stout Howlong people, this caught my attention for 2 reasons:
- rollin', you refer to nicholson in 90% of your posts, but you exclude him from your interleague side, whilst promoting two of your fellow teammates (?) in Barnes and Price with no real reason why.
- sanchez, you then include nicholson in your side. This is where i find it humerous because you are both howlong people, yet one (sanchez) rates him in the best 3 players in the comp, yet the other (rollin') doesnt rate him in the best 22 in the comp., yet refers to him a hell of a lot in previous postings.
Not having a go, everyone is entitled to their opinion and your sides are both quality teams. Just thought this anomoly with nicholson was quiet humerous :thumbsu::)

You got one thing right straughn think we are both Howlong people, not the same person but. In reguards to your post, i feel Barnes has been one of the best forwards in league for several years and have been impressed with price from what i have seen this year. Still rate nicholson but think there are a few other mids around the comp that should get a look in first. Hume league to beat tdfl this year!

Terrific work BS.... Jindera F.C. are having a murder mystery night in a few weeks.... and with this sort of investigative work I'd like you to come along and help me solve the crime???

This "Quality" you speak of Boxhead was exactly that.... QUALITY! And incidentally she was one of the better umpires going around too....
I WONDER IF SHE DRINKS BEER??? SHE'D BE THE PERFECT CATCH!
 
Are Howlong still a dirty team?
Has Walla got kids playing for them in both reserves and seniors?

And a more serious question, there was a player, approximately 4 years ago playing for Culcairn in the under 14's. Jesse or Jessie someone. (Forget his last name). The kid was ripping it up and was a standout for Culcairn every game.

Is he still playing for Culcairn or have the Murray Bushrangers finally snagged him? Or has he gone off the rails?

Howlong v BB Saints (28 pts)
Murray Magpies v CDHBU (20 pts)
Billabong Crows v RW Tigers (80 pts)
Walla v Lochart (40 pts)

Howlong v BB saints game of the round, will tell the competition just how far the saints have come this year!
