No, possible games matters. The return on investment matters. I will be absolutely stunned if Hodge plays two seasons, particularly playing on the Gabba.

And if in a similar position we traded a pick in the 30s or 40s for an older player who will play a single season for us and is getting towards the bad side of being cooked - you would be absolutely ropeable!

Anyone wanting more than a low-level pick for Hodge is speaking is just speaking from a pure Hawk bias and not remotely being realistic.
