But why Cogs

He's the one I dont understand. He's not old, showing some form and has been touted as a future leader. It makes no sense to put him on ice. The rest of them - sure, you can argue its for the long term good I guess.

not a troll, but is it possible he's a little sore, give him this week off and he gets 2 weeks off with the bye, it does seem to be the strange one of the lot

Guys like Bowden, Brown and Simmonds are only 30. They've still got a few years in them if they play good footy. Why does Richmond have to start playing the kids? We all know they're a better team than that. These kinds of moves will force older players to retire and will put your club into rebuild mode again. That means a couple more years at least before finals. Is that really what you all want?

2 young ruckmen have all ready past simmonds, and he has lost alot of his leap. Brown was out injured and will need to come back in through coburg like everyone else comming back from injury. he can have a great game but then followed by 3 games were he does nothing. and Bowden, must just be sending a statment. or they wanted to give the fans something and play Vickery and at a cost bowden had to go.

rather than look at who's out, better to focus on who's selected. we should pick the best team, not necessarily the best 22 players, to do the job each week dependent on who we play. In that scenario some players might miss out - tough. Happens every week at most other clubs. Also it is actually good for those players dropped. No matter what age or level of experience they have to set a higher standard if they want to play seniors. If they can do this, they get back in and will have improved as players and leaders. Consolation is Coburg field some pretty handy players on a regular basis. a win-win as far as I can see.

he's thinking about the club. the club comes 1st. wats best for them, not the other way around. its a tuff business and u gotta make tuff decisions. eg example hear wat richo said the other day, he said the footy club comes 1st, not him. watever happens, happens. i'll continue to support the club no matter what

Well take simmonds off our hands then lol
p.s can ya find out how many tickets have been sold for the tigersv crows game up your way will i get a ticket at the gate

think about it. its making a statement. terry has lost his job and its the senior players who have cost it for him. simmo, jordy and bowden pay the price for that (and brown who is left out when he could come back in).
