What the **** was his alternative? Go into games with only 17 players? How desperate you are to create a narrative that there was "positives" to celebrate around Adems first season with the club is the only attempt here to create a narrative that doesn't, clearly, exist.

Some players have a good relationship with him, Balta one of them you saw him on the bench writing something to Yze earlier in the year.
I feel like it's the oldtimers don't like his coaching, Rioli, Bolton & Baker they might like him as a bloke, this is just my guess that they don't think he is commanding enough of players.

Who would you want from the Dees? I don't see anyone on their list we'd want that he could get for a half decent price and still has a few years left.
Blair in his presser said he thought Baker was going home 2 years ago and that Bolton has been homesick ever since he was drafted so I think we can rule out Yze being the issue.

Trade capital for the club. He and his manager had mentioned to Freo they wanted Richmond to be compensated properly, tontake care of the club instead of leaving the club to get shafted if he was out of contract anf homesick.

He probably hedged his bets. Probably wanted to go back home to Perth a few years ago but if a trade didn't work out then he had the 5 year contract at Richmond sewn up.

This situation of Dimma's old boys leaving is the best outcome for yze. He starts fresh after a year of learning what worked and what didn't.
He has to win these new guys over though and be the leader and mentor he's being paid to be.

Harsh. The Bears look like they may actually be on the right track. The Jags, not so much.
Very happy they all got to go where they wanted, as they would have been toxic if they stayed long term. What we got in return was very promising. Hopefully we stick to drafting best available & none of these players from left field. This is one draft we cant afford to stuff up, as this will set us up for the next 10 years if we get it right.
Absolutely and Adem and the team should be excited by the blank canvas in front of him.
