If Hawthorn won the flag this year........

crawf deserves a flag.. he could have gone for more money a number of times especially when the team was at its lowest.

he stood strong by his club so if we did win the flag i think he would give the game away and move on to the media more......

Now that Crawfs breathing capacity will increase by 10-30%, he would want to go on for a few more years if possible. I'm waging he would love a couple of flags before retiring.

If we could win him back to back flags in the next four years, that will be the cream on top of an otherwise great career (of course the first step is to win one).

I think Crawf is as hungry as ever - last weeks game he played like a teenager!!

I am more than certain he would want to play on - and I don't see why the club wouldn't want him to either.

His passion burns hotter than ever - and I don't even think a GF would put that fire out!

Do you think that Shane Crawford would hang up the boots?

He looks as though he could go on for at least a couple more seasons but I am wondering whether he would retire if he was able to win that elusive premiership.

I hope we can send him off in style as a premiership player no matter when he retires, he looks fit and healthy and injury free, doesn't seem to have lost much so he could go another 3 i think, but i believe at this stage if he won a flag he would go and i don't blame him.

Common knowledge that he would have but because of veteran status, no club could match his pay under the salary cap
