Half time v Coll BT running around yelling Willie gets 4 years breaking news into the eagles rooms. Is it time for a 2006 drug story yet? Or do we need to beat Collingwood? Or Geelong?
Did NR say anything after the Chief ruined him with that comment? Or was it the standard silence like everytime #VICBIAS is questioned?Nick Riewoldt brings up the whole 'sleeping in your own bed' crap after Brisbane's win.
Dunstall: How is that any different to all the Melbourne teams who are able to do the same at the MCG during a regular season?
Thanks Chief. ♥
Lucky Chief hosts one of the more successful shows on foxfooty or I suspect he may have been looking for other employment for not following the hard done by Vics narrativeDid NR say anything after the Chief ruined him with that comment? Did lolTitus O’Reilly ran with that one in this weeks newsletter.

A Highly Unhelpful Guide to AFL Finals Week One
The only guide to the round that admits it’s completely unhelpful. What it lacks in insight, it makes up for with wild theories and detours onto unrelatwww.titusoreily.com

Rita Panahi can **** off, she wrote that hit story to screw with us in 2015, no surprises she is a massive Hawks fan.Did lol
'The Perth media have been getting stuck into the Pies already, with The West Australian calling them ‘the dirty Pies’.
That sort of thing would never happen in Melbourne’s media towards the Eagles.
I mean, unless you count all the times they’ve bought up the 2006 West Coast Eagles being on drugs, but in fairness, they only do that every single year West Coast are threatening to win the Premiership.'
Unfortunately truth be told majority of Grand Finals are poor from a neutral point of view.

Not a surprise, but the match report on the AFL is unsavoury reading.
Basically echoed the 7 commentary team's narrative about the brave Pies who were given no chance to win, with no credit being afforded to us whatsoever for making it a tight contest.
Pretty disgraceful imo, but what can you expect from the same website which produces the delightful Sliding Doors features.
Staying alive: Brilliant Pies stun Eagles by a point
Collingwood has ended West Coast's season with a one-point win at Optus Stadiumwww.afl.com.au
Who's asking for media adulation? It was a close contest and only a 1 point result. It really could've gone either way.Would reading some puff piece make you feel better? There are places for that. We shat the bed, plain and simple. Collingwood wanted to and deserved to win. We expected to. And to expect some kind of media adulation for it? I now know why our supporter base gets its rap for being equal parts precious and insufferable.
Reality is that we deserve it - Collingwood were up against it and we should have put them to the sword. Instead they decided as a collective group that they were gonna stick it up our arrogant backsides and did just that. They out-worked us over the ground and dug in against incredible odds and a hostile crowd to win a classic final. By contrast, we once again did what West Coast are famous for doing in games where we are heavy favourites: drink the bathwater and just expect it all to fall our way. When it didnt go to narrative who stood up? No one. The Pies stuck fat all night and deserve to be media darlings. Personally I wouldnt mind being potted in the media for a bit - it might give us the incentive to stop being pissy little bitches when we have to hub away again.Who's asking for media adulation? This is meant to be the match report from the official AFL website, but AFL website decided to write a "puff piece" about the brave Pies who overcame all the odds stacked against them, which is exactly the same angle that the 7 commentary team had last night.
They could've chosen to put out an unbiased match report if they wanted, but they decided on a tabloid like article.
Funny they didn't mention the blatent throw one second after the smother they were gushing about. Not a surprise, but the match report on the AFL is unsavoury reading.

Not suprisingly not by the AFL website. The other infuriating one was the perfect tackle dropped ball that cost us a goal. Umpires have cocked that one up all year as well.It has been picked up:
AFL’s biggest shame rears its ugly head
West Coast Eagles fans, you might want to look away.www.news.com.au

So according to access all areas, we didn't do well this year because we 'moaned.'
******* spare me.
To an extent I agree. The way we approached that initial hub was in no way befitting of club standards and the WAAFL level ‘efforts’ we served up meant we missed out on Top 4. We only really performed when we wanted to this year. Pretty much the same story as last year.So according to access all areas, we didn't do well this year because we 'moaned.'

Agreed, still a premership list but their drive and determination to succeed at all costs just hasnt been there the last 2 season. Its been a massive disappointment. To an extent I agree. Two very poor years in a row with this list is not acceptable. Sure, finishing 5th may not fit everyone’s definitions of ‘very poor’ but I believe we’re a much stronger list than what has been produced post-GF.
