We’ve done a lot of wining (well beering) and dining with his extended relatives.

As soon as Wrighty ate his sixth pork knuckle washed down with 13 steins the Smit family knew they had the right club.

I was warned before meeting him for the first time. My girlfriend was a real daddy's girl. He hated anyone that was close to her. Funny AF at the time.
I had to go to the bottleo everytime before meeting with him.
Not even joking.
GF was impressed I could manage to make him smile.

I have known a couple of Afrikaans over the years and they are very melancholy and Don't have a huge sense of humour. They tells it like it is
