Picking up Smit definitely means Begg will be moved on IMO, Steene and Smit is more than enough developing rucks..

Club had no flexibility to play Begg anywhere but Ruck with the injury history of our Rucks since he’s been recruited.

Frampton is fine in the ruck. I just wish we didn't have to move him from defence because he's been very solid

It’s more they have decided on a longer term view on a player they think has more upside.

Dont have to rely on SOS and Purcell.
