I'm proud that my club is tanking!

My bet is you'll NEVER get a sensible response back from them Deefolt... all they seem to know how to do is spout cliches and catchphrases over and over again.
.

That's funny coming from you... All you can seem to say about Naitanui is "The Palm Tree".

Like to see how many games your mob win with 11 of your best 22 out injured, and twenty of your squad injured in total... how would you like to take that bet GB?

My guess is you'd win almost none of those matches. What do you reckon?

Mate your coach isn't doing your Club any favors by admitting to the public his "experimentation" plan did you even watch the game today some of the matchups were ridiculous and being ridiculed by the commentators.

Presti played forward last week:thumbsu: and Rocca is waiting in the wings:thumbsdown:and we are 3rd this week:thumbsu:

So yes

Although i will give you credit for the rocca comment, quite comical, you obviously see what i mean. Melbourne players aren't getting played in the right positions, that even screwed the great fev up who played defence and got his pants pulled down so much brazil was getting updates about his toilet habits.

seconded, it is what i am trying to put across. the man (bailey) is a joke and the minute we get him gone will be a minute to soon, just hope hardwick goes to richmond, don't want him around when we are picking up a new coach.

All I know is you aint no good, tanking or no tanking, you aint much chop

Firstly Eastern Hills: I fear what it says about WCE if teh team that is getting spanked "that hard" who has "there attitude" beat your club...
I thought it was pretty obvious why Melbourne won that game:

In any case, I think tanking has too much of a reward, and it is in Melbourne's best interests to go down that path, if indeed they are.

no correct we aint much chop, hence being at the rear end of the ladder, never said we were fantastic, all i know is that there are players being played severely out of position, "injuries" are suddenly appearing, Green is out for the season, the only reason they didnt do it to bruce coz then the afl might actually look into the medical records lol

negative unknown fan
we played WCE in melbourne. They are shit away from home
Jimmys even would have helped but that wasnt the only reason mark my words, that was the reason for the port win imo, but no the wce one.

No, I don't think any one event could influence a game of football, you are right that there are many factors, but the Jim Stynes influence was a very big one on that particular day I felt.

Yes, the WCE are not great away from home despite their win against the Bulldogs, and perhaps they weren't giving 100% at that point in time.

Really? Have you actually read any of my posts much? I'm not even the one who's really been using that one a lot.

Incidentally, if that was a "spot the obvious mistake" post, do I win a prize? ;)

PS- Why would I need to use that nickname as much as you suggest anyway... there is a shortlist of at least 20 good ones to choose from :D

More like Melbourne Zombies

From a North Melbourne supporter? Really?

After the various injuries your club's had this year, you choose to just totally ignore that factor when you're talking about OUR club do you?

Just totally ignore the fact that half our best team and half of our squad in total is injured now. Great work.

Or is this another case of "selective amnesia"...

All I know is you aint no good, tanking or no tanking, you aint much chop

What is it with you GB, you just disengage the brain and parrot the same tired cliches over and over again?

Leaving aside that we have TWENTY guys on our injury list the last time I checked FFS!

ELEVEN of our best 22 on that list as well. And I'm more than happy to list every single one if called upon.

Correct me if I'm wrong (and I'm not out to troll), but isn't this a case of the chicken and egg? Half the problem stems from the fact that Melbourne seem to be cotton wooling various players - Grimes' two injuries in 3 weeks seem a bit dubious, for example. Basically, citing the injury list isn't going to be a pass mark when a lot of people think the Dees are playing the injury game fast and loose anyway.

You can neither prove or disprove this however. We can only speculate

However I would think that, as players DO NOT tank, would they not be extremely upset that they're rested for an injury that doesn't exist???

No, not particularly.

We had many players out injured earlier this season as well.

Yet, amazingly enough, there weren't an ARMY of people out there trying to claim that this was all some kind of big conspiracy at the time.

Somehow, it seems like a bunch of them just choose to ignore reality now because we're an easy target.

Disengaging the brain is for your benefit, and the same old cliches tend to apply in this instance. Melbourne are crap, its not rocket science, they just are genuinely crap. I typed it slowly for you too, so you have more of a chance of comprehending this very simple and yes, cliched response. MELBOURNE ARE CRAP

What an amazing deduction! The bottom of the ladder side is crap! OMG

But I guess you are a Collingwood supporter so I'll forgive you...

What we're saying is that once we have a full strength side back and the new players from the draft come in, we will be a better side. There can be no doubting that!

The list Melbourne is assembling is very talented...it could be our best team in decades (not a hard feat haha) so these are exciting times ahead. Where that takes us we will have to find out.

Disengaging the brain...

Seems like we have a mad parrot loose on the board I'm afraid folks...

LOL at the "rocket science" bit too... thank Christ GB isn't a rocket scientist, he'd probably blow up NASA in some boneheaded Homer Simpson-type accident I reckon... ;)

Here's a good idea GB, why not post something that shows you have ANY kind of a brain next time... then maybe, MAYBE, we might actually take you seriously in our responses?

Whilst not happy at still lanquishing near the bottom of the ladder, I'm proud that my team notched up it's fifth win for the year this weekend.
Especially because it wasn't the usual players like Pav and Sandilands that played well but the likes of Broughton, Hill, de Boer, Mayne, youngsters that with the exception of Hill weren't high draft picks.
With players such as Palmer, Crowley, Hayden, Johnson, MacPharlin all to come back next year I'm hoping that we can be competitive without having to rely on priority picks.

Good luck to you Alvin... hope you guys do have a much better season next year too, especially after such a long extended period of frustration like you guys have had.

With the last few seasons for us Demons being as incredibly frustrating as they have been, I completely understand what it's like.

Ok, thats your excuse for this year, what about the 2 years before that?

Face the facts, your club is crap and your coach is the worse in the history of football.

Judas, I'd doubt you'd recognise a "fact" if Fev stuck it up you after a night on the piss.

Coming from a Carlton supporter like yourself, whose club has spent more time at the bottom than Blue Hills lately, I find your comments laughable in the extreme.

Take your sad-ass trolling efforts to Bay 13, such demented postings will be a bit less out of place there.

What only the last few years? When did your club last win a premiership? Have you ever seen them win one? Or are you very easily pleased?
